Today I’d like to pay tribute to Tim Harland – a close family friend of nearly 25 years, who recently passed away suddenly. 🤍

Tim was a wonderful man who was passionate about the natural world. 🌿🪵 He was the co-founder of , where I published my first balm recipe back in 2016 — knocked up from a few household ingredients! 🍯

When Tim (& his wife Maddy) started keeping bees themselves, I remember Tim excitedly telling me how he’d used my recipe to start producing balms from his own bees’ wax – gifting them to friends & family. 🐝🐝🐝 …He even once gifted me a precious bottle of his homemade propolis tincture!✨ (The magic “bee medicine” in my balms! 😍)

It became a shared passion – our love for working with bee products. 🐝🥰 And I cannot think of my balms now without thinking of dear Tim. 🙏🏼 Tim was someone who lived his life lead by love. ❤️ He was unapologetically expressive in his love for people, plants, wildlife & all the wonders of this beautiful world. 💕🌿 That is something I think we can all learn from. Thank you, Tim – for everything. 🙏🏼
