My lovely patient here came to me 6 months ago with persistent, painful and uncomfortable rosacea.

Rosacea is a common skin condition which is often mis-diagnosed and mis-understood, commonly mistaken as acne.

Whilst rosacea can’t be ā€˜cured’, it can be managed - the correct approach will provide the skin with the environment it needs to thrive.

Here we can see the rosacea papules have completely resolved, inflammation has reduced, and skin redness has reduced revealing my patients lovely, natural skin tone.

This has been achieved by modifying the medical approach, implementing a supportive skincare routine by using the in-clinic ā€˜The Derma Nurse’ skincare system and a course of skin treatments to improve skin barrier function and reduce inflammation.

Both myself and my patient are thrilled with the results. If you have ever suffered with an inflammatory skin condition (including myself!) you will know that achieving healthy skin can greatly improve your quality of life and genuinely be life changing.

Thank you to my patient for allowing me to share šŸ™

Skin consultations are available in-clinic. Send me a message to enquire.

Introducing ā€˜Relieve’

Healthy Skin = Great Skin

Sensitive skin isn’t a skin type, it’s a skin condition which results in a compromised skin barrier.

ā€˜Relieve’ is a gel serum designed to combat the visible redness, irritation, dryness, and loss of firmness in the skin. It’s packed with active ingredients to improve the symptoms of sensitive skin, redness and improve irritation. I often recommend this as a hero product those suffering with rosacea. It’s also a great anti-aging product as it’s packed full of peptides.

Albatrellus Confluens + Chinese Hickory Extract: calm redness & sensitivity.

Contains 3 potent peptides: boost collagen, elastin & skin resilience.

Strengthens the skin barrier & defends against firmness loss.

This is more than skincare — it’s a science-backed solution for sensitive skin.

Skin analysis consultations are available in clinic.

Send me a message to book.

Introducing The Derma Nurse Skincare Range

Great skin starts with great skincare. We can do so much for our skin with the right products for our skin type.

There is a lot of noise, misleading marketing and unnecessary price-tags associated with skincare.

The ingredients within skincare only come from a hand-full of factories across the world. It’s the product formulations and the CONCENTRATION of the active ingredients which makes the difference.

Let’s take vitamin C as an example. One of the biggest beauty brands sells their vitamin C at a 3% concentration; the bottle states ā€œcontains vitamin C which protects against free radicals, evens pigmentation and boosts collagen productionā€. The label is absolutely correct in its statement; Vitamin C is BRILLIANT and it can do all of those things BUT not at a 3% concentration!! This claim is the equivalent to me telling you that paracetamol is great for headaches (it is) and then give you 1/6 of the dose and expecting it to get rid of the headache (it won’t!).

All of the clinic research shows that vitamin C needs to be at least 10% in concentration, up to 20%. The concentration required will be dependent on your skin type.

So many people are unknowingly using costly, ineffective skincare…. It may look and smell lovely but it may not be doing anything for your skins appearance or skin health. Inappropriate skincare could also be causing your skin issues and not solving them!

What makes our skincare Different?

The Derma Nurse skincare range uses evidence based research and is all formulated with highly concentrated active ingredients, to improve the skins overall health and appearance.

We’re ethical and sustainable….

The range is formulated in the UK, ingredients are sustainably sourced, it’s vegan friendly, paraben free, and not tested on animals.

Good value, high quality products….

My products are sourced directly from the manufacturer - we cut out the ā€˜middle men’. I offer premium products, with the highest concentrations possible for non-prescription skincare on the market, at a much lower price than big brand competitors.

Full skin-analysis and skincare consultations available in clinic.

Tired, hollow, or crepey eyes? This treatment could be the game-changer you’ve been looking for šŸ˜

Polynucleotides are a powerful option for refreshing and rejuvenating the delicate under-eye area. These clever molecules work beneath the surface to repair skin, boost hydration, and improve elasticity. Over time, they help to smooth fine lines, thicken thinning skin, and restore a fresher, more youthful look.

What I love most about polynucleotides is that they don’t just hide the signs of ageing—they actively improve your skin’s health. Whether you’re dealing with fine lines, dark circles, or a loss of firmness, this treatment delivers natural, long-lasting results.

This is something I want every woman over 40 to know… šŸ‘€

Dermal fillers have their benefits but they don’t address all the changes our skin experiences as we age. While fillers can contour and plump, they won’t improve skin quality or tackle concerns like pigmentation, reduced elasticity, or texture.

For truly radiant, long-lasting results, treatments such as skin boosters, polynucleotides, and advanced skin therapies will enhance skin quality by improving hydration, stimulating collagen, and repairing damage—helping to treat the face as a whole, rather than focusing on just one area.

Ever wondered what’s really happening beneath your skin? Meet the OBSERV 520… 🤩

The OBSERV 520 is an advanced skin analysis device that gives us an in-depth look at your skin’s health—both on the surface and below. Using different light modes, it reveals hidden concerns like pigmentation, dehydration, and early signs of ageing that you might not even know are there.

What I love about this device is how it takes the guesswork out of skincare. By understanding exactly what your skin needs, we can create a personalised treatment plan to target concerns more effectively and help you achieve healthier, glowing skin. Think of it as your personal roadmap to better skin!

Tired, ageing eyes getting you down? šŸ‘ļø

If you’ve noticed fine lines, thinning skin, or a loss of elasticity around your eyes, you’re not alone. The delicate eye area is often one of the first places to show signs of ageing—but there’s a solution.

Polynucleotides are a breakthrough treatment that works from within to restore and rejuvenate your skin. These naturally occurring molecules stimulate cell repair, boost collagen production, and improve hydration, making them ideal for treating the sensitive under-eye area.

The result? Smoother, plumper, and more refreshed-looking eyes that help you look as youthful and energised as you feel.

Curious about how it works? Swipe to find out why polynucleotides are quickly becoming a go-to treatment for ageing skin āž”ļø

Polynucleotides vs Profhilo—what’s the difference? šŸ‘€

Both treatments are fantastic for skin rejuvenation, but they work in different ways to deliver results—so understanding what sets them apart can help you choose the right one for your skin.

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid-based treatment that provides intense hydration while stimulating collagen production. It’s perfect for plumping, smoothing, and improving skin laxity, especially on larger areas like the face, neck, and dĆ©colletage.

Polynucleotides, however, focus on regeneration. They work deeper within the skin to repair damaged cells, boost elasticity, and enhance long-term skin health. They’re especially effective for targeted areas, such as under the eyes or regions with specific ageing concerns.

Swipe to explore how each treatment works and find out which one might be best for you āž”ļø
