Microneedling is one of the most underrated treatments out there.
It is well-researched and has many benefits including:
• Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Reducing the appearance of acne scarring
• Boosts collagen and elastin
• Reducing the appearance of enlarged pores
• Reducing hyperpigmentation
• Improving overall skin texture
Microneedling works by using fine needles to create controlled, micro-punctures into the skins surface. This triggers the body’s natural wound healing response which stimulates new collagen and elastin production to rejuvenate the skin. Collagen and elastin are the skins essential proteins ensuring strength, firmness, tightness and flexibility.
Depending on each clients own skin concerns, multiple sessions may be required to achieve longer lasting results. I recommend 4-6 sessions with a 4 week break in between each one, followed up by 1-2 sessions a year to maintain.
