Chrys' first day back today after the op.... He's back working with us, the reduced hours of Wednesdays 9-6 and Fridays 9-1.

Were glad he's all mended so we can annoy him again 🤣🤣

Hello everyone, first of all I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Cassie on stepping up to achieve her goal, and mine, of taking over The Wish Salon. Cassie has been with me from the very first day that The Wish started In one room of a tiny shop in Gaywood. Little Did I know then that Freddie, my nickname for her, would become like a daughter to me, not a favourite one obviously,🤣🤣🤣 but a daughter nonetheless. She has been like a rock in the bad times, a shoulder to cry on when needed, a sounding board and confidante for ideas, and has always been honest and straight forward with me at all times. There is no one on Earth that I could trust more to take the reins and move the salon forward. Some of you may be aware of my decision to step down due to failing health, but for those that do not, I am in need of a Double Heart Bypass at Papworth hospital, date to be confirmed, so I will be taking a few months off work to recuperate, but I will return on shortened hours ASAP. So please get behind Cassie and Alisha and give them as much support as they deserve, especially after putting up with the old codger for so long. Cassie, I love you as one of my own and I know you will make a great success of this journey. I'm always there for you if you need me. Now go and be great!!!

As most of you will be aware, as of this coming Thursday, masks will not be required to be worn in shops any longer by staff or clients. But, as a 'client centric' salon, we are aware that some people may be anxious about being in the salon without a mask. Please be assured that if you prefer us to mask up whilst you have your hair done, then please ask and we will comply with your request. Kind regards Chrys.
