The Talon Lounge

So I'm sat here at the airport in Madeira, waiting on the flight home, inspecting my poor holiday nails 😱

They have been hiking, rock scrambling, sea and pool swimming, and just generally anything we decided to do we did 😅

Thankfully tomorrow they will go from holiday nails to a more autumnal set 🍁🍁

With 2 full mornings in a row of decent hiking I am spending what I consider to be the last day of summer enjoying some sun 😎

As a nail tech I always give advice about preventing chipping, lifting etc. And then yesterday I went on a lovely walk that saw me clambering over rocks and chipping my own set 😂

Sometimes we just need to accept that in order to do things we enjoy and experience the best that nature has to offer, we must make sacrifices 🤦‍♀️😅

That's why I'll always understand if you come in with chipped nails and an 'I had such a good time' tale ❤️
