Small Business Saturday. Well today 7 Dec was small business Saturday it’s a little shout out to shop and support small businesses and not only on this Saturday but everyday. I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who shops small and local. Plus an extra massive big thank you to everyone who chooses us ❤️ it’s the run up to Christmas and I’ve had a particularly good week in the salon, from new clients, to long standing friends. Clients who have become friends. Clients who have found us on Clarence Drive and clients who have followed us from Sauchiehall Street and clients I have known all my hairdressing life and that’s a good few years now. I so appreciate each and every one of you and thank you for supporting us and making us who we are today .. much love ❤️

🐣 Happy Easter.. I love this time of year.. not only do I get to eat lots of chocolate, I get to watch the cherry blossom tree outside my window bloom. One of my favourite trees. We had one in our garden when I was young and they always remind me of my mum.❤️ The cherry blossom tradition runs deep in Japan. Life, Death and renewal. The springtime bloom is brief, only about two weeks, then they shower the pavements with their flowers. 🌸
Cherry blossoms signify love and the female mystique beauty, strength and sexuality.
Also tied to the Buddhist theme of mortality, mindfulness and living in the present. 🧘‍♀️

Spring is here .. May all our grey days be behind us. Everything is blooming and colour is popping up everywhere. I do love a Black and White photo though. What will spring bring for you?
