At Blitzed we aim to create an authentic retro atmosphere, with the aid of 15-piece house swing band Winston and the Churchills, vintage visuals and specially commissioned props and decorations. Previous events have also featured the musical stylings of DJ Lord Holyrude, who spins classic tunes from two beautiful gramophones, as well as instant photostrips captured and printed for you by memory-making experts the Bygone Photobooth, and on-site 1940s makeovers by Miss Dixiebelle hairdressing. Era-appropriate attire is a pre-requisite for attendees: which means allied uniforms and brylcreem, or tea-dresses and victory rolls. Do your bit. Get BLITZED.
