💗 An Important Update from Me
At Freshwipes, we've always believed that if something isn't right, the right thing to do is be honest about it and put our customers first.
Following independent laboratory testing, we've made the difficult decision to voluntarily recall one batch of our Freshwipes Intimate Wipes (LOT 0926) because it does not meet our microbiological quality standards.
As a precaution, we're asking anyone with LOT 0926 to stop using the product.
If you have an affected pack, there's no need to return it. Simply contact us and choose either:
💗 A free replacement with our UK-made Unscented Mini Travel Wipes
or
💗 Store Credit to the value of your Intimate Wipes.
We're truly sorry for the inconvenience and concern this may cause.
As a small family business, this has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we believe it's the right one. We'd much rather act quickly and transparently than compromise the trust you've placed in us.

☀️ TOP 5 TIPS FOR STAYING COOL IN A HEATWAVE

The hot weather can be lovely ☀️ but it can also be challenging, especially for older adults, those recovering from illness, or anyone with reduced mobility.
Here are our top tips for staying comfortable and refreshed during a heatwave:
💧 1. Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Keep a glass or bottle within easy reach.
🪟 2. Keep Your Home Cool
Close curtains during the hottest part of the day and open windows early morning or later in the evening when temperatures drop.
👕 3. Wear Lightweight Clothing
Choose loose-fitting, breathable fabrics such as cotton to help your body stay cool.
🧼 4. Freshen Up Regularly
A quick wipe down can help you feel cleaner, cooler and more comfortable between showers, particularly during hot, sticky weather. Keep your Freshwipes in the fridge for a lovely refreshing cool-down.
🕐 5. Avoid the Midday Heat
If you need to go outside, try to do so before 11am or after 3pm when temperatures are lower.
❤️ Most importantly, check in on elderly relatives, neighbours and friends during periods of hot weather. A quick phone call can make all the difference.

When I invented FreshWipes, I thought they would be useful for people who couldn't shower (Photo below is me (Liz) and Dr Hilary Jones MBE - our Medical Advisor)
