Hard Gel vs Builder Gel, what's the actual difference?? 🤔 They're both gels, they're both gorgeous, but they're not quite the same thing!

Builder gel is a brilliant option for adding structure and support to your natural nails, helping you maintain your length while enjoying a beautiful, glossy manicure.

Hard gel is generally a more rigid, durable enhancement system that can be ideal for clients who need extra structure, want extensions or simply suit a firmer product.

So why might I recommend one over the other? It comes down to your natural nails, your lifestyle, your preferred length and the type of support your nails need. There's no one-size-fits-all approach here! 🙅‍♀️

And yes, hard gel appointments cost a little more, but that reflects the product, application and service involved. When you're wearing your nails for several weeks, choosing the right system for YOUR nails is far more important than simply choosing the cheapest option 🫶

A little appreciation post 🩷
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for being so incredibly accommodating and understanding over the last 6 weeks.

With the summer holidays, kids at home, puppies being absolutely MENTAL 😂🐶 and me taking extra days off to spend time creating memories with my family, I know things haven’t always been as consistent as normal.

I know some of you have had to wait a little longer than ideal for infills, and I genuinely appreciate your patience. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. 🫂

Every time you choose to book with me, you’re not only supporting my little business, you’re supporting my family too, and I couldn’t be more grateful. You’ve made it so much easier for me to enjoy this summer with my family without feeling guilty about taking that time for them 💐

September is SUCH an exciting month! 🥹🍂 Normality can finally start to resume (hallelujah 😂), but we’re also starting work on a BRAND NEW professional cabin! 🏡✨

There will inevitably be a little disruption while it’s being built, but I have plans in place to keep this to an absolute minimum and I’ll keep you all updated!

And once all the carnage is over, there have already been a few little talks about potentially having a garden opening gathering to celebrate! 🥂🌸 A chance for you all to meet some like-minded people, enjoy some nibbles, a few drinks and celebrate the new space together. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but I LOVE the idea! ❤️

I cannot wait for the autumn months, all the cosy vibes and getting you all into the new space. 🤎🍂

I’ve been keeping this one quiet for a little while… but I can FINALLY tell you! 🥹🤍

Between 15th-22nd September, we will be getting a BRAND NEW NAIL CABIN! 🏡✨

This is going to be such a HUGE upgrade for Nails By Summer. A bigger space, more room, more comfort and ultimately… more space for us to spend our appointment time together! 🥹💅🏼 I’m SO excited for you all to see it!

Now… there is just one tiny problem 😆
We haven’t been given an exact delivery date yet! So, in the meantime, I’ve temporarily booked off a few days around that period just in case.

As soon as I know the date, believe me, we will be working AROUND THE CLOCK to get the old cabin down and the new one up as quickly as humanly possible! 😂💪🏼

My aim is to keep the disruption to your appointments as minimal as possible. I’ll continue working right up until the new cabin arrives, and as soon as I know exactly when everything is happening, I’ll reopen the available days on JENA so you can book in as normal.

I’m sorry it’s all a little vague at the moment! Trying to organise electricians, tradespeople and extra pairs of hands when I don’t even have a confirmed date yet is proving to be a bit of a nightmare 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

✨ A LITTLE ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to temporarily close my books to new clients. My diary is now completely booked, and I genuinely cannot put into words how grateful I am for the continued support of my little business 😭

When I started Nails By Summer, I never imagined I’d reach a point where I’d have to say I’m fully booked and unable to take on any more new clients! 🥹🩷

For now, my focus is on giving my existing clients the time, care and attention they deserve, while continuing to grow and improve my business behind the scenes.

This isn’t forever though, I’ll keep you updated when I’m able to open my books to new clients again 🥰

And if you’ve been following my journey for a while, you might remember that I was also awarded Highly Recommended last year. To receive this recognition for a second year running, and to now be recognised as a Winner, honestly feels so incredibly special. 🥹🏆

When I started Nails By Summer, I never imagined that my little home-based business would grow into something that would be recognised at a national level. There has been SO much hard work, learning, investment, nerves, late nights and definitely far too much overthinking 😂 but more than anything, so much love has gone into this business.

A huge thank you to every single client who has ever booked with me, trusted me with their nails, recommended me, shared my posts, supported my business or simply cheered me on along the way🥹 You have all played such a HUGE part in getting me to where I am today, and I genuinely wouldn’t be celebrating this without you!!

Although I didn’t make it through to the Top 100 or Top 50 this year, I’m honestly choosing to see that as motivation. If anything, it’s made me even more determined to keep learning, improving and pushing myself to see just how far I can take Nails By Summer 💪💅
