One thing I always like to mention at this time of year is that your manicure might not wear exactly the same as it does during the colder months, and that's completely normal! 🌞

As the weather gets warmer, our hands naturally sweat more and our nails absorb more moisture. This causes the natural nail to temporarily expand and contract.
Your Builder Gel or Gel Polish is designed to be durable, but it can't move in exactly the same way as your natural nail, so this extra movement can sometimes increase the chance of lifting 🤕 Then add in holidays, swimming pools, the sea, sun cream, body oils and spending more time in the water, and your nails are working even harder than usual!

The good news is that a little aftercare can make a huge difference:
🌸 Apply your cuticle oil every day.
🌸 Avoid soaking your hands in water for long periods where possible.
🌸 Never pick or peel any lifting 👀 (message me instead!).
🌸 Keep on top of your maintenance appointments (3-4 weeks)

One of the most common things I hear is "I'd like BIAB please!". But did you know that BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is actually a trademarked product name, rather like Cadbury is a brand of chocolate. 🍫
