💆‍♀️ A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MASSAGE THERAPIST… 😂

7:00am — Alarm goes off.
Me: “I’m going to have an early night tonight.”
Also me at 11:47pm: scrolling TikTok. 👀

8:30am — Arrive at the salon/spa feeling fresh, motivated and ready for the day. ✨

8:35am — Start preparing the treatment room.

Fresh towels? ✅
Bed made? ✅
Oils ready? ✅
Music on? ✅
Candle lit? ✅
Room smelling like heaven? ✅

9:00am — First client arrives.

“I’m really tense around my shoulders.”

Me: I can tell… your shoulders have practically moved into your ears. 😂

9:55am — “That was amazing, I feel so relaxed.”

Me internally: Excellent. Another human successfully returned to Earth. 😂

10:00am — Quick reset.

Disinfect everything.
Change the couch roll.
Wash hands.
New towels.
Re-stock everything.

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. 🔄

12:30pm — Lunch!

…or what massage therapists like to call “that 4-minute window where I inhale a sandwich.” 🥪😂

2:00pm — Client says:

“I don’t think I have any knots.”

Me, finding approximately 47 knots in their shoulders:

“Interesting…” 😂

4:00pm — Someone falls asleep during their treatment.

Honestly? JOB DONE. 😴🙌

6:30pm — Last client of the day.

My feet: 🫠
My back: 🫠
My brain: 🫠

But my client walks out saying:

“I feel like a completely different person.”

And suddenly… it was all worth it. 🤍

7:30pm — Clean the room, wash the mountain of towels, tidy everything away and finally head home.

Me: “Right, early night tonight.”

“Just one more episode…” 👀😂
