Little love had her first proper hair cut last night 🥹🥰 finished with a quick style as it was approaching bedtime but we had no tears and lots of smiles!

Her hair is extremely thick and curly (somewhere between 3C-4A) so it drinks up moisture like nobodies business but her parents keep it super healthy and clean.

We found that the tangle teezer paddle brush worked very well along side a wide tooth comb using mane and tail detangler for a no tears process.

Where she’s just had about 1.5inches off the ends with a blunt cut her plaits are a bit poofy at the ends which is a sign of healthy hair but it’s a great example of why we recommend not having a trim prior to braids.

Think we will be giving this little love a few weeks break and then go back in with some single plaits and beads to really moisturise her ends over the holidays 💚
