With a large garden to relax in, a full sized snooker table to make your big break, a fishing lake and fields and woods to walk in, there isn't really much reason to leave! We have one twin bedroom with a large brand new en-suite bathroom, complete with shower and free standing bath, and one double bedroom with views across the garden, lake and hop yards and with a brand new shower room. Prices start at 80 GBP per room, with discounts for 2 or more nights. Ingredients for breakfast are sourced locally where possible, and fair traid tea and coffee are used. Specific diets can be catered for by prior arrangement. The course fishing lake is open to the public, and is well stocked with Carp, Roach and Tench. If you're lucky you may catch the odd goldfish or Eeel which seem to have made their way in somehow! Fishing costs from 6 GBP per day, plus 1 GBP for extra rods, just turn up, set up and someone will come and collect your money. Night fishing is available from 20 GBP but this must be pre-booked by phoning. The farm is family run and we grow hops, cider apples and cereals. The hops are sold to English brewerys, the main ones being Timothy Taylors and Wye Valley, but many other brewerys use our hops. The cider apples are mostly send to Westons (home to Stowford Press, the finest cider around) but some also go to Bulmers.
