One of the biggest misconceptions about lip blush is that the colour you leave with is your final result… it isn’t. 🤎

Immediately after treatment, your lips will look brighter and more defined. Over the next few days they’ll begin to heal, the colour will soften, and it may even seem like it’s disappeared altogether.

My client wanted a soft peachy pink lip blush to restore the colour she’d gradually lost around the border of her lips. Over time, it’s completely normal for the lip outline to lose pigment, making the lips appear less defined and smaller than they really are.

As you can see, we decided to add more definition to the border to ensure a crisp, beautifully defined outline once healed.

During the healing process, it’s completely normal for the border to soften slightly, which can make the shape lose a little of its sharpness. That’s exactly what the top-up appointment is for - making those final tweaks to perfect the healed result.

My client also chose to go a little deeper with the colour this time, now that she’s seen how much the pigment softens as it heals. We expect the second healing process to fade and soften again too, leaving a gorgeous, natural-looking finish.
