75 years ago the guns fell silent at the end of the Second World War in Europe .
Today on the 75 th anniversary we will celebrate at home maybe with a cream tea , if you are lucky enough to find clotted cream 😂
And a singalong tonight at 9 pm to dame Vera lynn .

We have a roll on the chocolate cakes, this one was for my sisters birthday . We have had so many lock down birthdays . So much to celebrate when we are allowed out !! That’s if we can fit through the door . I’m not doing any more baking as I’m the only one who eats it . My kids don’t even eat cake ( weirdos 🤣 )

This was before lock down I just realised I hadn’t showed you all the photos . I know the cling film is on but that would come off very last minute our sandwiches get made at the last minute . We are getting quite quick we ( mum and i ) can make 100 sandwiches in 2 hours not bad going !! Oh that not including filling prep !!

684 deaths in the last 24 hours! Up over 120 on each of the 2 previous days. Lovely weather is heading our way. Please do the right thing peeps. COVID cases will rise for the next 10 days because of spread that has already happened. We need to guard against people thinking the lockdown is not working while this happens. It takes at least a week for lockdown to start reducing the rate of rise. Can we copy & paste to enlighten the absolute numpties that are still behaving like they are immortal and it will have no effect on them or their family? ❤️ . 🌈

My mum has got her friends round for a valentine lunch it’s all super cute , she has made Blackberry & apple pie. Lemon posset with heart shaped shortbread biscuits and a chocolate torte all baked with love ❤️😍 xx hope they have a wonderful day ❤️
