𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?

Keeping the brow health in mind the ideal time to wait is 10 weeks. If you laminate brows which have been previously laminated you are going to damage the hair and it may snap off.

You can offer your clients lamination maintenance appointments 4-6 weeks later. This is a great way to increase your sales and keep your client away from the tweezers at home!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

After brow lamination the hair becomes very porous meaning that it will take on the colour from the tint very quickly.

To prevent the hairs from over darkening and becoming black you can:

🎓Reduce the amount of time the tint is left on
🎓Use a lighter shade
🎓Add a tint safe serum into the tint (I use the inLei Brow Bomber)

What about blondes?
If you want to achieve a light colour after lamination you will need to keep the tint on for no longer than 1 minute using your lightest shade.
Immediately after use a colour fix solution, if you don’t have one try using waxing oil.
Now this will mean you won’t get much of a skin stain however by using a highlighter underneath you can achieve a similar effect. Use a flat brush and be precise with the highlighter.

Tips for working with mature clients

𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝟭 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴
When your client is led down their facial muscles are relaxed and when they sit up the muscles tighten, this means you should always map the brows whilst the client is sitting up.
As we age our facial muscles weaken and not all of them at the same rate which means one eyebrow may be raised more than the other causing asymmetry.

𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝟮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲
It’s not uncommon to see sparse and thinning brows, often the tails of the brows growing downwards to the cheek. Where possible lift the tails, keep to the natural hair growth and remember that mature clients prefer thinner brows. Especially if they currently haven’t a lot of hair or it’s really fair/grey.

𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝟯 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻
Mature skin can be more delicate, thin and prone to grazing. It will also take longer to heal so do be careful when waxing, check the temperature on the clients wrist and ensure you have used a pre wax lotion 🧴

It is estimated that we only retain about 30% of the information we learn, detailed notes will be useful for you to go over after your training. Especially information on contraindications, as we may not come across everyday.

𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆
The sooner you do the treatment in your own environment the more confident you will feel because it will solidify your knowledge. There is no time pressure or expectations from the model as it’s free of charge.
