This move looks simple, but trust me — it works your whole body.
To keep the Reformer steady and do a push-up here, you need:
• A strong core to stop the carriage sliding away
• Upper body strength to lift and lower
• Good shoulder control
• And your glutes + legs working to support you
But don’t let that put you off… there are SO many ways to make this easier.
We can start on your knees, change the springs, or do fewer reps.
You don’t start here — you build to it with consistency, just like anything else. 💛
I’m using 1 blue + 1 yellow spring on my Align Reformer if you were curious! These are light springs - heavy isn’t always harder!
