A very busy morning in the studio and another goregous client trying something a little different 🥰💅🏻

We went for this gorgeous deep blue with a little sparkle and some cute little heart details 💙✨ I think this colour is definitely becoming a favourite!

We also had a few little repairs to do, including 4 tips, and I’m really pleased with how they’ve all come together and how lovely and even the finished set looks 🥰

I absolutely love having clients who trust me to try new things and let me keep learning and improving along the way 💕

She went for this gorgeous bright pink with a couple of sparkly pink glitter nails for a little extra ✨💕

I absolutely love how these have turned out — such a gorgeous colour and that little bit of sparkle just finishes them off perfectly 🥰

Extensions for this lovely this morning 🥰

She always comes in with the most gorgeous designs and I absolutely love creating them for her. She likes to keep things fairly simple but still wants that little something extra… and I think these are simple but stunning 💜✨

And clearly this deep purple is a winner for her too because we've definitely found her colour 😂💜

I love how these turned out and I think the little silver sparkle just finishes them off perfectly

👻 Spooky Little Things 🕷️

Last nights client....
She wanted something a little spooky this time, so we had a bit of Halloween fun 👻🖤

Cute little ghosts, spiderwebs, a spooky mummy and lots of black & white details 🕷️🤍

She’s always such a laugh to have in the studio and I absolutely LOVE creating all her designs because she always gives me the best ideas 😂🥰

Spooky but still cute and wearable, just how we like it at Lux 🖤👻

🩷 Feeling very grateful 🩷

I just wanted to take a little minute to say how grateful I am for all of my lovely clients 🥹❤️
One of my gorgeous clients bought me this at the start of the week and it honestly made me so happy 🥰🩷 Just knowing that my clients think of me outside of their appointments really does mean so much.

And then this evening, I had another lovely client who waited for me to get myself sorted and actually walked out of the salon with me because there were workmen, vehicles and roadworks everywhere and I was feeling really anxious about it 🥹❤️

I know it probably sounds silly that I can do the job I do, chat to people all day and run my own business, but still get anxious about things like that sometimes 😂🙈 But I do suffer with anxiety, and some days are definitely harder than others.

Today has been a particularly stressful day with a lot going on personally, so those little acts of kindness have meant more to me than people probably realise ❤️
I really, really love my job and I genuinely feel so lucky to have such lovely clients. It's not just about doing nails, lashes, brows etc — it's the friendships, the chats, the laughs and knowing I have such amazing people coming through my door that make my days so much easier 🥰

So thank you to every single one of you who books with me, supports my little business, checks in on me, brings me little gifts, makes me laugh or simply makes my day a little brighter.

I appreciate you all more than you know 🥹❤️

🤎 Wild West Glam 🤎

Fresh hard gel infill for this lovely lady 🤎

She doesn't usually have much nail art, but she's off to a country & western evening, so we decided to have a little bit of fun with this set 🤠✨

We kept her practical length but added some gorgeous cow print, blue marble and a few little western-inspired details 🐄🩵🤎

And I'm SO pleased with how these are lasting now! We tried hard gel whilst im still practising this and its is definitely working much better for her, especially with how hands-on she is with gardening and all the hard work she does 🥰

I love seeing her get a little braver with the nail art too 😂❤️

A lovely little mother & daughter appointment today 🥰🖤

While her daughter was having her fresh set, mum came along to start her BIAB journey with me too 🤍
She needs to keep her nails quite plain and simple for work, so we kept these lovely and subtle with a soft pink, little white French details and the cutest tiny ghosts and pumpkins 👻🤍

And because it’s Halloween at Lux after all, we added a little bit of gold spider web detail to the thumbs 🕷️✨

I absolutely love how cute they turned out without being too much, and it was so lovely having them both in the studio together 🥰

🍂 Autumn Spell 🍂

So lovely having this gorgeous lady back in the studio today 🥰🖤

It had been nearly 6 weeks since I’d seen her! We’d had to remove a few nails at her last appointment, so it was extra lovely to have her back in my chair today for a proper catch up 🥰

And just look how well the rest of her BIAB had lasted! 😱 The retention was SO good considering how long it had been!

Today we infilled the BIAB and added a few hard gel tips to bring everything back up to a lovely even length ✨

Finished with this gorgeous soft n**e and I absolutely love how clean and pretty they look 🤎🖤

Fresh nails, a lovely catch up and so nice to have her back in the studio again 🥰

We went for a black base with a gorgeous red cat-eye, and I am OBSESSED with how these change in the light ✨ its definitely giving witchy halloween vibes ❤️🖤

She did unfortunately break one nail while she was on holiday, so I added a little hard gel tip to repair that one, but the rest are all her natural nails 🥰 You honestly wouldn't know which one had been repaired!

Such a simple colour combo but I think they look SO classy and a little bit sultry 😍🖤❤️

Good morning lovely ladies 🥰

Sharing yesterday’s last set because I couldn’t not post these little autumn cuties 🍂🤎
She asked for all things autumn, so we went for little leaves, mushrooms, a cute little fox and all the gorgeous autumn colours 🦊🍄🍁

I actually loved creating these and I think they were the perfect set to finish a VERY busy day in the studio 😂

Now I’m off to do it all again today 🙈😂
