Denture adhesive… it can be a very helpful tool or it can mask an underlying issue!

Using denture adhesive alongside a well fitting denture can add retention however if you are relying on a large amount of glue to fill gaps between your denture and your pallet it may be time to think about getting a new denture or getting a reline!

Furthermore, using too much adhesive with a well fitting denture can actually cause more problems than it solves as by pushing the denture away from the pallet of the mouth, It can become more unstable and more likely to drop out!
