Emily saw an article about Barwood Metalcraft in and got in touch to commission our new salon sign.

Stephen takes people's unwanted scrap metal and turns it into artwork. He has made a career out of making artistic sculptures out of recycled metals.

This fits into B&F's eco friendly/green/recycling journey perfectly 🍀

This sign was made from recycled high carbon steel and copper, the lettering is hand plasma cut and set on hand formed rod to give it a raised effect. The copper has been treated to make it turn green (patina copper) which fits in nicely with the salon decor 💚

Ruby has started in her new role as Salon Apprentice and will be working closely with our stylists to learn new skills to become a Level 2 Hair Stylist!

Ruby will work at Boldero and Filby alongside her college learning.

Our apprentices are offering discounted wash and blow dry's on Thursday afternoons.

All training sessions are supervised by a Senior Stylist.
