Access to the library or peel view carpark can still be accessed coming up West High Street from the roundabout. Entry to the salon will NOT be affected.

This is a picture of a 69 year old truck driver. For 25 years he drove his truck with the sun shining on the left side of his face. Even through the window of his truck UV radiation has done an incredible amount of damage to the one side of his face.

This is what we commonly refer to as sun damage. Sun damage is one of the main causes of ageing, causing deep lines, loss of elasticity, break down of collagen and sagging which is not reversible and also run the risk of skin cancers like Basel cell carcinoma. This also includes sunbeds.

In order to prevent this kind of ageing SPF should be worn all year round. SPF 50 for the face should be your go to every day in the summer and at least a SPF 30 in winter.
At we love all things skin and help our clients to keep their skin looking radiant, so with the nice weather here, we want to remind you of the importance of SPF.

We recommend our skin perfecting moisturiser SPF 30 for winter days and our hydra defence moisturiser SPF 50 for summer days, (available in the salon). Both will nourish and protect your skin against the ageing effect of the sun.
