The Impact Hub

We are pleased to announce that The Impact Hub Youth Provision has received its first ever funding from BPR CVS to support the youth activities we have planned through to March 2027.

We are incredibly grateful for this support, which will enable us to continue creating meaningful opportunities for young people, particularly those from underrepresented and marginalised groups who may face additional barriers and challenges.

This funding will help us provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop new skills, explore their potential and access opportunities that can help them thrive.

We are excited about the opportunities this funding will create and the positive difference it will make to the young people and communities we support.

At this week’s Youth Club session we kicked things off with a fun game of “This or That” to break the ice, have a few laughs and get to know each other a little better. ❤️
We then put the finishing touches to our business ideas, getting ready to pitch and present them to our very own judges! 💼✨
There were some amazing ideas, lots of creativity and plenty of confidence on show as the girls presented their businesses. 🏆
Our judges chose a winner... but in our eyes, every single girl is a winner! 💖 We’re so proud of everyone for having the courage to share their ideas, get involved and give it their all.
We had some new girls join us this week, so a very warm welcome to you all! 🫶
Here’s to new friendships, big ideas and lots more to come! 🌸✨

👧 6:30pm – Girls Youth Club (11–16)
In the evening, it’s time for our Girls Youth Club! We’ll be joined by a special guest, followed by a fun range of activities. ✨🙌

A group walk is about so much more than getting your steps in 🤍

It’s about getting outside, moving your body, having a good chat, meeting new people and creating a sense of community along the way 🫶🏽
From boosting your mood and supporting your wellbeing to helping us feel more connected, there are so many benefits to walking together✨

On Tuesday, The rain had other plans for our tennis session this week 🌧️🎾… so we swapped the courts for a stroll instead! 🤍
Our lovely volunteer Nazya led our Saniya Strolls ladies’ walking group 🤍 There were plenty of laughs, good chats and lots of fun along the way! 🫶🏼
Proof that movement doesn’t have to feel like exercise…sometimes it’s simply good company, fresh air and a reason to get out the door ✨

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 at Marsden Park, Nelson, bring your friends…whether we’re on the tennis court or out for a stroll, come along and join the fun! 🌿🎾🚶🏽‍♀️

✨ Another inspiring session at Girls Impact Youth Club! ✨

We started the session with a fun and competitive game of Tic-Tac-Toe as our group warm-up… a great way to get everyone energised, working together and having a little fun! 🤍

We then had a very special guest and an incredible role model in both business and deen Zpies'n Pasties Zpies join us! 🥹✨

She shared her journey with the girls, from what inspired her to start her business, how she turned her idea into a reality, and everything she has learnt along the way. It was so lovely to hear her experiences and see the girls engage, ask questions and take inspiration from her story. 🧁💗

To put that inspiration into action, the girls then had the chance to become entrepreneurs themselves! 💡 They worked together to create their own hypothetical business plans, thinking about their ideas, what their business would offer and how they would bring it to life.

A session full of confidence, creativity, teamwork, ambition and inspiration… and we definitely left feeling inspired by the girls and our amazing guest! ❤️

Join us for a relaxed Walk & Talk session for women from Marsden Park – a chance to get moving, have a chat and connect with others. 👟💬

What a brilliant first session we had last night! We enjoyed some delicious pizza 🍕, got creative with painting 🎨, headed out for a walk or should I say stroll 🚶‍♀️

While the girls enjoyed the activities, parents also had the chance to get registered, and meet the team. 👋

A huge thank you to Diane from Asda for providing us the room for our youth club and to everyone who joined us (including the amazing volunteers) and helped make our very first session so special! 🥰
