When I created The Intimate Studio, I didn’t want it to feel like a typical beauty salon.
I wanted it to feel like popping round to see a friend. No fake smiles. No being looked up and down. No feeling like you have to turn up with your hair done, make-up on or your “best” clothes.

Turn up in your scruffs. Bring your leggings with the bobbles on. Tell us about your week. Cry if you need to. Laugh until you snort. We genuinely don’t care what you look like – we’re just happy you’re here.

We offer intimate treatments, so feeling relaxed isn’t a bonus… it’s essential.

What started as a studio specialising in intimate waxing has grown into so much more. And yes… I’d put us up against anyone when it comes to Hollywoods and Brazilians. 😉 Check out our reviews and you’ll see exactly why so many women trust us with their most intimate appointments.

We’ve now added medical-grade laser hair removal, and one thing we’ll never do is sell you a treatment that isn’t right for you. If waxing is going to give you better results than laser, we’ll tell you. Even if it means we earn less. I’d rather have your trust than your money.

Another exciting update… my new machine was ordered today! 🤩 It should be arriving in the next 2–3 weeks, and I honestly can’t wait to show you all. More than anything though, I love the space we’ve created together.

That was always the vision.

This milestone means so much because my original page was hacked back in June 2024. Years of work disappeared overnight, and I had to start again from scratch.

Every single one of these followers is genuine. No buying followers from Thailand, Mexico or Spain. 😂 I’d rather have 2,500 real people who laugh at my daft videos, cheer me on and actually book appointments than 25,000 bots.

When I started, there weren’t really any intimate waxing specialists around here. Now there are loads, and I genuinely love that. It means we’re making conversations about vulvas, p***s, menopause, laser hair removal and pelvic floors completely normal.

I’ve even had clients tell me I’ve inspired them to start their own waxing businesses. My biggest advice? Don’t copy anyone else. Be unapologetically yourself.

I’m known as “the waxing lady”… sometimes “that crazy waxing lady.” 🤪 What you see on social media is exactly what you get in the treatment room. No fake persona, just me.

Despite declaring that I wasn’t booking any more holidays this year… I’ve somehow managed to sneak in a cheeky 5-night Tenerife trip. 🌴☀️

Look, I don’t really do designer handbags, fancy shoes or expensive make-up. But holidays? I’ll happily hand over every penny I’ve got. 😂

This one is particularly exciting because we’ve got unlimited access to Siam Park. If you’ve ever seen me try and exercise self-control around a water slide, you’ll know that’s dangerous information (as long as there’s a rubber ring involved. None of that vertical stuff for me)

Ellie is The Intimate Studio’s secret weapon.

She’s trained in intimate waxing, laser hair removal, lymphatic drainage massage and body contouring, and if you’ve ever been treated by her, you’ll know exactly why our clients love her so much.

Fun fact: in between clients, Ellie often waxes her own top lip. So if you ever spot her sporting a suspiciously red handlebar tash, don’t worry… she’s just been enthusiastically removing it with hot wax. 😂

What a lot of people don’t know is that Ellie actually started out as one of my clients. She decided she wanted to do what I was doing, and I could see straight away that she had exactly the right attitude, personality and work ethic. The rest, as they say, is history.

Her superpower? Making everyone feel completely at ease.

Whether you’re coming in for your first Hollywood wax, laser appointment or massage, she’s so laid back she’s virtually horizontal. Within about five minutes you’ll forget you’re sat there semi-naked with your legs akimbo discussing your weekend plans. 🤷‍♀️😂

We’re also about to introduce a brand new treatment machine to the studio, and Ellie will be helping out with that too, so keep your eyes peeled for some exciting announcements.

A few people have asked recently about training and careers in laser hair removal. I’m not actively recruiting and I’m certainly not in any rush to take on another team member, but I’m always interested in meeting good people and testing the waters for the future.

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a laser hair removal specialist, let me know. Full training would be provided, so experience isn’t essential. For me, personality, attitude and how you make people feel will always be more important than a CV.

After all, that’s exactly how Ellie ended up here.

⭐️ Who will wax me?
Either Louise or Ellie. We’re based in a private treatment room inside Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice in Clifford with parking right outside. No busy salon. No audience. Just us.

⭐️ Will it hurt?
Well… we’re ripping p***s out by force, so yes. 😂 But it’s a quick sting and then it’s done. Most intimate waxes take just 15-20 minutes.

⭐️ I look awful down there
No, you don’t.

We see real women and real bodies every day. Piles, scars, stretch marks, skin tags, prolapse, cellulite, C-section scars… we’ve seen it all and none of it bothers us.

⭐️ I’m fat
Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and every single one is welcome here. We genuinely don’t care what size clothes you wear.

⭐️ I’m really hairy
Hair removal is literally our job. Whether it’s a few stray hairs or a full 1970s bush, we’ve got you covered. In fact, we quite enjoy a challenge. 😂
