Family adventures in and around Yorkshire
Did you know one of Yorkshire's most iconic landmarks, Whitby Abbey will look like this is just over a week! The whole Abbey is illuminated in the most stunning colour with actors telling the tale of Dracula as you wander round.
Come with us on a Northumberland road trip!
This is one of my favourite counties in the UK for so many reasons, the stunning beaches, pretty towns and amazing history. It's literally got everything.
📍Day 1 we visited Alnwick town, loads of beautiful shops and there's some fab Charity shops! Then onto Alnwick castle which is a super famous Harry potter filming location. I'd highly recommend visiting the gardens too and the lilidorei playground! We then played crazy golf before heading back into town to our favourite Italian restaurant Ristorante Tirreno
📍Day 2 we spent at Holy island, Lindisfarne castle. You can walk here for miles and there's so much to see but please check the tide times before setting off! We had tea at Efes turkish restaurant in Alnwick then went for a walk on Alnmouth beach
📍 Day 3 we visited Cragside, the most beautiful place ever! Get some good walking boots on as you can wander around the grounds for hours! The house is equally as beautiful inside. It's a National Trust house so definitely pop into the cafe for a scone!
If your visiting in spring it's absolutely worth getting on a boat trip from Seahouses around the Farne Island to see the puffins and sea birds. Bamburgh castle is also a must plus a walk on the beautiful beach.
How is it back to school time already 😫 I've loved the summer holidays so much this year we've had so many amazing adventures
I'm so sad the school holidays are almost over, we've literally had the best fun filled time ever! And he will 100% say he did nothing 🤣
Step inside Hardwick Hall AKA Malfoy manor 🐍
The outside was used in the Deathly Hallows along with a few special effects. It's an absolute must for any Harry potter fan
