Think of your collagen like a bank account… 🤍

Your skin is constantly breaking collagen down, and as we get older, we naturally become less efficient at replacing it.

So the idea behind collagen banking is simple:

Keep making deposits.

Treatments such as microneedling can help stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production, but one treatment isn’t going to set you up for life.

It’s the consistent investment over time that matters.

A planned course, followed by maintenance when appropriate, allows us to keep supporting your skin rather than waiting until you’re unhappy with the changes you’re seeing.

Because for me, pro-ageing skincare isn’t about trying to turn back the clock.

It’s about investing in the skin you have today, to support the skin you’ll have tomorrow.

And if you’re ready to start making those deposits, my October SkinPen course offers are now available.

Send me a message if you’d like to know which course would be right for your skin.

What can microneedling actually help with? 🤔

It’s one of the treatments I talk about a lot, but you might still be wondering whether it’s actually right for your skin.

Microneedling can be a really lovely option if you’re noticing things like:

✨ Fine lines and early signs of ageing
✨ Skin that’s starting to feel less firm
✨ Uneven or rough skin texture
✨ Enlarged pores
✨ Acne scarring
✨ Dull, lacklustre skin
✨ General changes in skin quality as you get older

Rather than simply working on the surface, microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering its natural repair response and stimulating collagen and elastin production.

And that’s why I particularly love it for women who aren’t trying to look younger, they just want their skin to look healthier, stronger and more radiant as it changes.

It’s also important to say that microneedling isn’t automatically the answer to every skin concern.

The treatment, depth, frequency and whether I’d recommend it at all will depend on your skin, which is why I’ll always look at the bigger picture rather than simply booking you in because microneedling is the treatment you’ve heard about.

Not sure whether it’s right for you?

Send me MICRONEEDLING and tell me what you’d most like to improve about your skin, and I can point you in the right direction.

Cheryl 🤍

Okay, but this is one kind of girl maths I can get behind 😂

As we get older, our skin naturally produces less collagen, which can contribute to fine lines, changes in firmness and uneven texture.

And whilst I love a good skincare routine, sometimes our skin needs a little extra support.

That’s where microneedling comes in.

By stimulating your skin’s natural repair process, we can encourage collagen production and support gradual improvements in skin quality.

But remember, one treatment isn’t going to magically replace years of collagen loss.

It’s about consistency, patience and building on your results with a carefully planned course.

Because we’re not trying to stop ageing. We’re supporting our skin through every stage of it 🤍

My October SkinPen course offers are now live!

Have you tried microneedling yet, or is it still on your skincare wish list? 👀

Woman to woman…

If microneedling isn’t on your radar yet, we need to talk 👀

Especially if you’ve started noticing that your skin doesn’t quite look or feel the way it used to.

Maybe those fine lines are becoming a little more noticeable.

Your skin doesn’t feel quite as firm.

Or your texture has changed, despite being consistent with your skincare.

Sound familiar?

As we move through our 40s and beyond, our skin’s natural collagen production slows.

And whilst a good skincare routine is incredibly important, sometimes we need a little extra support to address those changes.

This is where microneedling comes in.

By stimulating your skin’s natural repair process, microneedling encourages collagen production, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and loss of firmness over time.

And the important part?

It’s not about having one treatment and expecting your skin to magically transform.

It’s about consistency, giving your skin time to repair and building on your results through a carefully planned course of treatments.

Because we’re not trying to stop ageing.

We’re supporting your skin as it changes.

And that’s something I’m very passionate about 🤍

I’ve got something exciting coming in October for those of you who have been thinking about starting your microneedling journey.

Keep an eye on my page. I think you’re going to love this one!

Tell me, have you tried microneedling before, or is it something you’ve been thinking about 👇🏼

One of the biggest misconceptions about microneedling is that the results should be immediate.

And I completely understand why.

When you invest in a professional skin treatment, naturally you want to see a difference.

But here’s what I wish more women understood…

The real benefits of microneedling are often happening long after you’ve left the clinic.

You might notice that lovely fresh, plump appearance as your skin recovers, but the collagen-building process is only just beginning.

Over the following weeks and months, your skin continues to repair and remodel, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and acne scarring.

And this is why I always explain to my clients that microneedling isn’t about chasing an overnight transformation.

It’s about supporting your skin’s natural ability to repair and rebuild.

It’s also why I often recommend a course of treatments rather than a single appointment.

Not because everyone needs more treatments, but because collagen remodelling takes time, and a carefully planned course allows us to work towards your individual skin goals.

Your skin concerns, treatment intervals and how your skin responds all matter.

After 23 years in the skincare industry, one thing I know is that the best results come from understanding your skin, not rushing it.

And if microneedling is something you’ve been considering, I have something exciting coming in October.

A little opportunity to invest in your skin with a personalised SkinPen treatment course. 🤍

Keep an eye on my page for more details.

In the meantime, I’d love to know: have you tried microneedling before, or is it something you’ve been thinking about 👇🏼

Something new is coming…

I’ve been quietly working on a treatment that brings together so many of the things I love about what I do.

Skin. Touch. Massage. Results. And that feeling of properly switching off.

It’s a little different to anything I currently offer… and I genuinely cannot wait to share it with you.

Coming this October.

Any guesses?

My hands have been my income for 23 years. And that’s exactly why I’m building something alongside my facial business. 🤍

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE being a facialist. But as women working in a physically demanding industry, I think it’s so important that we start thinking about how we can create additional income streams that aren’t entirely dependent on our time in the treatment room.

For me, partnering with Nu Skin has given me the opportunity to do exactly that.

A brand I genuinely believe in, products I love using and recommending, and a business model that allows me to build something around my existing business and family life.

And the more I learn, the more I realise just how much potential there is for other skin and aesthetics professionals too.

Whether that’s introducing products into your clinic, retailing to your clients or building a business of your own alongside your treatments.

I feel like I’ve been keeping this side of what I do a little too quiet, and I’m ready to start sharing more!

So, to my fellow skin professionals…

Have you ever thought about building an additional income stream alongside your treatment business?

Or if you’d rather have a chat privately, my DMs are always open.

There are 365 days in a year.

Even if you came to see me every single month, I’d be looking after your skin for around 12 of them.

That leaves 353 days where it’s down to you.

And those 353 days matter. A lot.

What you cleanse with.
What you put back into your skin.
How well you support your skin barrier.
Whether you protect it every day.
And whether the products you’re using are actually right for your skin in the first place.

Your facial can do a lot. I can treat, support, calm, stimulate and guide your skin in the right direction.

But I can’t undo 353 days of the wrong homecare in the couple of hours you spend with me each month.

And no, this doesn’t mean you need a 12-step routine, a bathroom cabinet full of products or to spend a small fortune.

Quite the opposite.

I’d much rather you had a handful of products that are right for your skin, that you understand how to use and, most importantly, that you actually use consistently.

Yes, I know. It’s me banging on about homecare again 😂

But when you realise I only get your skin for 12 days and you get it for 353, you can probably see why I never shut up about it.

If you’re not actually sure whether what you’re using at home is right for your skin, this is exactly what my skin consultations are for.

My clients already know how much I bang on about this 😂 Double tap if you’ve heard the homecare speech from me before.

I have never understood why effective skin treatments and proper relaxation are treated like two different things.

For me, the best facial does both.

I can be working on pigmentation, congestion, texture, barrier health or signs of ageing while also giving you the space to properly switch off.

That is why massage is such a big part of my treatments. Lymphatic techniques, lifting work, pressure points and slower restorative massage are not an afterthought I squeeze in if there is time.

They are part of the experience.

I want you to leave feeling that your skin has been properly treated, but also that your shoulders have dropped and your brain has been quiet for an hour.

You should not have to choose between results and how a treatment makes you feel.
