Sunday Hair Diaries 🫶✨

This week has been a bit of everything!

We squeezed in a lovely family day at the zoo over the bank holiday with the kids and Nanny 🐻🤍, then it was straight back into salon mode with some gorgeous transformations, including a lovely double appointment with two friends having their pre-holiday pamper together ✨

Somehow the kids are now in Year 3 & Year 1 😭😱 I genuinely don’t know where the time is going! Anyone else feeling the same?!

There’s also been coffee catch-ups with my school mumma girls ☕️🫶, because those little chats are honestly sometimes just what you need.

And of course… we had to finish the week with a copper queen 🧡 because you know I can never resist a good copper!

Which actually reminds me, one thing I’m ALWAYS talking to my colour clients about is their homecare. If we’re investing time (and money!) into creating that gorgeous fresh colour, we want to keep it looking that way for as long as possible ✨

Lighter, softer & so much more dimensional ✨🤎

Yesterday’s transformation, taking this colour lighter while keeping it soft, natural and beautifully blended.

We created a bespoke balayage placement to brighten through the lengths, add those gorgeous lighter pieces and create a seamless blend that will grow out beautifully 🤍

Finished with a toner to bring everything together, followed by a cut & blow dry for the ultimate glossy finish ✨

I’m obsessed with how much brighter and fresher this feels whilst still keeping plenty of warmth and dimension!

A softer way to be blonde 🤎

Today we continued the journey of moving away from a traditional full head of foils and into something much softer, more lived-in and lower maintenance.

We created a bespoke lived-in colour placement, designed specifically around her natural depth and how she wants to wear her hair. Rather than taking the blonde right up to the root, we’ve left a softer regrowth that will grow out beautifully and give her more time between appointments. ✨

Finished with a bespoke toner to soften and blend everything together, followed by a fresh cut & blow dry to bring the whole look together.

I LOVE how much dimension this has created while still keeping those beautiful blonde pieces. 🤍

Lived-in colour doesn’t mean less blonde, it means being more intentional with where we place it.

Sunday Hair Diaries 🤎✨

A little bit of a different week this week… I had 3 days off and spent some much-needed time with my little family, before heading back to the salon Thursday & Friday for two super busy days!

I welcomed a first-time client for a balayage, neutralising those unwanted orange tones throughout and bringing everything back to a much softer, more natural finish 🤎✨ Then it was a blonde refresh package for a lovely returning client — always so nice having familiar faces back in my chair 🫶🏼

Saturday was a slower one… a chilled morning followed by a couple of hours at Playzone for the kiddies, whilst I managed to sneak in some much-needed admin time. Because apparently the admin never stops 😂

And Sunday… we were invited to THE coolest Toy Story party for a very special friend and her little boy’s 5th birthday! 😍💙 Of course, we all got dressed up and fully committed to playing the part 🤠✨

Now for a bank holiday Monday before the school routine begins again… and I’ll be spending mine running around doing the inevitable last-minute school clothes shopping 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
