Absolutely jaw-droppingly gorgeous shot featuring my barbering and male grooming from a brand launch editorial shoot this week. This model Laurent was one of two male models I worked on at my studio here in Mossley Hill, Liverpool and then on set () providing haircuts/skinfades, beard sculpting (including cutthroat finish at cheeks/moustache/brow/temples ref. shape up for afro-textured hair model), eyebrow waxing/shaping and 'no make-up' make up to even out the skin tone and hide/cover any skin blemishes under the unforgiving set lighting.

For all you pogonophiles like me, my client's superlative facial furnishing is off-set beautifully by this undercut pompadour with drop skinfade. This combo allows for a shear sideburn blend which really enhances both hair and beard shape. Beard sculpt was finished using a cutthroat at cheeks and the handlebar was achieved by magic (I'm not giving away all my trade secrets nosey!).

Creating 'The Joker' make-up for actor showreel with the ever-patient Jovan Roye in make-up/hair for around 2.5 hours for the total look - what a star.

Pattern braiding, beard shape and foils all over for my client with type 3c hair. Important to properly prepare the hair before braiding with protective oils and to set using great holding and styling products including blow-drying to eliminate fly-aways using a stocking cap.

Softly rounded scissor/razor cut pixie for my gorgeous client Lou styled using Reuzel Clay Matte Pomade to add texture and a little volume, finished with hairspray for hold. The nights are drawing in and her art works at .chapelle are just breath-taking particularly at this time of year.
