Not many people know this about me, but I actually graduated university with a policing degree and domestic abuse was an area I really focused in on. I wrote my dissertation on revenge po*******hy and volunteered with a charity supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, so this is something incredibly close to my heart.

I completed this training course today and it took just over an hour, but the impact it could have is huge.

It’s specifically tailored for beauticians, which is so incredibly important. Sadly, beauty appointments can sometimes be one of the only services a victim is still allowed to access and usually alone, often because perpetrators can expect them to maintain certain beauty standards.

Knowing the signs and how to respond could be the difference between someone suffering in silence or feeling safe enough to open up.

I think every beautician should consider doing this training.
It could save a life. 💗
