Lizzo, one of the most, and understandably so celebrated and talented musician of our era has also been on her own journey with radical self love, acceptance and appreciation. She's been empowering and inspiring people all around the world for years now to embark on their journey to do the same. And what can we say apart from what a beautiful, remarkable and incredible person she is.

What she's saying MATTERS.

'Be you. Do you. Don't let ANYBODY steal your joy.'

We are all deserving of joy and happiness and we shouldn't let insecurities that stem from other peoples opinions bring us down.

you rule. 🧡

There probably won’t ever be a time where the public aren’t interested in some sort of celebrity drama. In fact, now we can tune into them broadcasting their lives 24/7 and actively share thoughts and opinions in social media comments, it seems we’re only getting more obsessed and involved than before.

However this ongoing feud between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez, and now involving Kylie Jenner hits a little different. Petty but demeaning videos, for the entire world to tune into is a little too mean girl vibes - isn't it time we left that in 2004 don’t you think?

Ahhh, rest, deep, nourishing, revitalizing rest. The type that involves absolutely NO screens, no distractions, and no one to disturb us (parents we see you.)

Who know’s what were talking about? And show of hands who can’t quite remember when we gave ourselves this type of rest (yes, ours are slowly creeping up.)

Well, this is our reminder that not only is rest normal, it is absolutely ESSENTIAL to our our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health and is integral to our success, productivity, creativity, and happiness.

But it seems we’re slowly forgetting how to unplug and simply rest.

We live in a world of distractions, and a large percentage of that in the modern world, come from being hooked on social media.

Who else reaches for their phone for some mindless scrolling after coming home from a hard days work or after putting the kids to bed? Or even as the first thing we do in the morning?

Well, we’re here to say, even if you’re lying down, if you’re on your phone you are not resting. Full stop.

Social media is literally designed to keep you hooked, dopamine hits that come from endless scrolling stimulate your nervous system making it addictive and couldn’t be anything further from rest.

The pressures we put upon ourselves to keep up with the forever changing trends, and the ALWAYS ON culture proving your productivity (have you done you 100 burpees, 5km run, quigong, ice bath, oil pulling, gratitude journalling, weekly functional food meal prep, meditation and 10 minute face yoga routine today, and by today I mean did you do that within the first 90min of waking up? Oh did we mention - did you turn that into a tik tok too? Oh and on-top of this get the kids ready for school?) is quite simply interfering with our basic need to slow down, and rest.

Burnout is not cool people. Not cool at all.

So here’s your Friday (and forever) reminder.

Rest is not only normal. Rest is essential to repair, recover and ultimately feel like a healthier, better human.

So who’s with us in trying to prioritize more screen free rest?

What's you ideal way to rest?

We’re here to help our community look good, feel, good and do good. And this ticks all three.

If you had a phone last year, then you might have seen this guys name on your feed. Yvon Chouinard. Founder of outdoor clothing brand Patagonia.

You know, the guy who rather than selling the company and becoming filthy rich from it, decided (with his wife and two kids) to shock the business world by making Earth its only shareholder? Yes - that's the one!

Back in September 2022 he transferred the ownership to a non profit organization of which it profits - about $100 mill a year - to go towards combating climate change and protecting underdeveloped land around the globe. 💚

Well, we're also here to champion people that actively use their business / platform / voice / energy to make the world a more beautiful place. Literally. And there is no better example that Yvon Chouinard.

Chouinard has paved the way for purpose-led entrepreneurs, proving that you can have both profit and purpose.

If you're inspired by this, then hit the link in bio to find out a little bit more behind the iconic Yvon Chouinard and the question you should ask yourself when driving a purpose driven business 💫

🌲Grounding, or Earthing, is a trend that's on the rise again. It comes from the idea that in modern-day life we have very limited, or in some cases, no physical contact with the Earth, therefore
inhibiting the exchanging of our electrons with the surface of the planet.

The therapeutic effects of grounding are nothing new though. It's been known for over 2000 years and even the infamous Nikola Tesla was a firm believer in its value.

Before we get into its benefits, there's a basic rule of physics we need to know. That is that we are all electrical beings living in an electrical world, in the sense that we are all made up of atoms which carry a net charge. Positive, negative, or neutral. Exactly like electrical wires.

We, humans, are meant to be in net negative charge, which requires more electrons (negative) than protons (positive). So, when your body’s overall charge is off it can disrupt the optimal workings of your body.

Luckily for us, the Earth has an endless supply of negative electrons, which is why people are taking to 'Grouding' again to reap the benefits of being connected to nature.

Some of the science-backed benefits of grounding include:
improving cardiovascular health, regulating cortisol, neutralising free radicals, wound healing, muscle damage, chronic pain, supporting the immune system, improving mood, improving sleep, and prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Grounding also plays a role in our bodies 'circadian rhythm', which is our internal 24-hour clock and system that controls our eat-sleep-wake cycle and precise biochemical reactions that are crucial for optimal health. If you're still here and interested in more, search for 'Schumann Resonance'.

We call for a little harmonising with nature and here's how you can too:

👣Walking barefoot on the Earth
🌲 Lying on the natural ground
🌊 Submerging your body in natural water

Why not give it a try and see how it makes you feel.

We're here to help you feel good. 🧡

You’ve all heard this one before: ‘No one is you and that is your superpower.’

Maybe it’s because we’ve seen this quote as many times as we’ve seen “The Notebook” and as we read it we’re hearing the voice of a slightly patronizing aunt (anyone else?) - coupled with the fact we’re bombarded with endless content about being perfect that pushes us into a contradictory way of thinking -

… we’ve kinda lost the sentiment of what this really means.

So let’s reign it back in and reframe it. Because this is important.

Our individuality is exactly what makes us beautiful.

8 billion people and counting, and not a single one of us are the same. No two people are exactly the same 🤯

It’s an obvious statement but INSANE when you think about how we’re all striving to look act and think in a way whichever is trending.

The parameters of which are getting increasingly smaller and impossible to actually achieve.

Hello - where did the understanding of this obvious statement go?

Your smile, energy, hair, desires, scars, skin color, body, lines, skin texture, personal story, ambitions, inspirations, the way you move, the way you think, your thoughts of pineapple on pizza…. (We could go on).

These are all things that make you uniquely and beautifully you.

We know that it’s hard to always feel beautiful.

It’s the ultimate contradiction of human nature. On the grandest scale, everything is irrelevant. Yet in our mind’s capacity, everything is SO IMPORTANT.

So, of course, we can’t just read a quote and expect to become immediately enlightened and transcend our self-sabotaging thoughts about ourselves. Like now.

But wouldn’t it be cool to just continue to remind ourselves and everyone around us that all of our spectacular and beautiful qualities come from the very qualities that make us unique?

Then maybe we can start to shift our collective mindset into a more empowering and accepting one.

And I bet you, more people admire you for exactly who you authentically are than you think.

So here’s a reminder: stay unique, please, and embrace the beauty you authentically are.

Beauty is right here. Where we are. Within and around every single one of us.

Everywhere we look online, we’re inundated with images of perfect faces and bodies. The eponymous Instagram face—that augmented face defined by catlike eyes and high cheekbones—is unavoidable.

But the trend is not restricted to Instagram: edited faces proliferate across the web.

Whilst most of us know that these images aren’t real, the effects of consuming this ‘perfect’ look are having significant consequences on our mental health.

THIS IS: Our new movement is here.

This is our moment to champion incredible, beautiful, awe-inspiring people and their journey with beauty, what it means to them and their hope for the future of beauty.

Honest. Vulnerable. REAL.

It’s within their stories that magic can happen. Maybe their stories resonate with you, maybe they make you feel seen, and heard, or maybe they bring a new awareness and thought-provoking notions of what the word beauty even means.

Magnifying their message around beauty might even help us rethink our own perception of the word beauty.

And the ripple effect of collectively coming together and shifting this perception is when we can make, meaningful, powerful, progressive change.

It’s time to rewrite the narrative on today’s beauty standard and it starts with these conversations.

And once we’re empowered with the fact that beauty is not reserved for a select few, and everyone’s version of beauty is different and ABSOLUTELY WORTHY, is when we can truly experience the richness of our own beauty.

Whatever that might look like for YOU.

This is how a movement is made.

Beauty is not one look. Beauty is not just a look.

We are committed to making the world of beauty a more inclusive, celebrated and empowered one. And we’re pretty excited to be working with our community of change makers to champion this movement.

If this resonates with you, then THIS IS for you.

Drop us a ❤️‍🔥 if you’re in.

A big shout out to and this amazingly talented team for the images.
