some things just cancel each other out.

🫧 Retinol and vitamin C in the same routine at the same time- better as AM/PM, not layered together

🫧 Multiple exfoliating acids at once, your skin doesn’t need three different acids in one sitting

🫧 Retinol and benzoyl peroxide together, this combo just dries and irritates the skin

🫧 Actives on actives with no buffer, your barrier needs breathing room

🫧 Some forms of Vitamin C with certain acids, can destabilise the formula before it even does its job

🫧 Harsh physical scrubs on top of chemical exfoliants, that’s double the stripping, not double the glow
