Want those nails to last this winter? Here's what you NEED to do...

1. Hydrated hands are happy hands! The cold and damp is awful for our skin, keep it healthy by using hand cream and cuticle oil at least twice a day.

Bonus Tip - Always forget to use your cuticle oil? Add it in as a step in your skin care regime or keep it next to your toothbrush!

2. Avoid getting your hands overly wet or hot! Handwashing is obviously fine! If you're going to do the washing up, pop on some gloves; taking a long bath? Try not to submerge your hands.

Chlorine is the enemy of nails unfortunately. Any winter holiday pool time or dip in the hot tub will dramatically shorten the length of time your nails will last.

3. Jewels not tools! Don't scrape your nails trying to remove those price tags on your pressies or popping the ring pull on your favourite bevvies. Use something else!

4. The best aftercare is maintenance! Book for your next appointment every 2-3 weeks to keep those digits looking as glamourous and as beautiful as the rest of you this party season!
