Mi tía always taught me when in fear, light a candle in a dark room and meditate on that tiny little flicker - la luz del mundo
I made the flame on the candle nail to glow in the dark and the hand-painted wood effect was so fun to paint

Meet Fray Tormenta, a Catholic priest whose real name was Sergio Gutiérrez Benítez ✝️
In 1976, Father Gutiérrez struggled to support the growing number of abandoned children in his care… Inspired by Mexican films about priests who wrestled, he donned a red and yellow mask to become “Fray Tormenta”(Friar Storm) to raise money for an orphanage.
His double life helped support over 2,000 children - all whilst keeping his identity secret. Word soon got out and he became a legend, and still remains a legend in Texcoco to this day 🥊
His story inspired the 2006 movie Nacho Libre, although Fray Tormenta has noted the film was a loose, comedic interpretation of his life 😂

UPDATE: Thanks to all that have been checking in on my back issues. Since my break I’ve been in zero pain. I’ve since researched and noticed it was a nervous system issue (as well as muscular tension build up from the position I sit in for 8-10 hours a day, along the course of 8 years - it’s a given). To provide a solution for myself and so I am able to carry on with my career and practise that I love; I will be working in a slower pace than usual, i.e. getting up for small breaks/stretches/hot packs, and possibly a cheeky thigarette 🚬
Please allow extra time for this, and make me aware from the beginning of your appointment what time you need to be out by.
