Promo Fo’s founder has been bringing agencies together to discuss furlough.
If your agency has shown an active interest in our mission to help staff access the furlough grants, then on behalf of the staffing community, we thank you!
We’ve hosted and recorded 2 meetings so far.
The agenda is to give agencies the opportunity to listen in on other agency leaders who have furloughed 100’s of staff to learn more about the process.
If you represent an agency and would like to watch the recordings please email us [email protected]

We've created a LIVE FURLOUGH LIST to help update staff on where agencies are up to with furlough.

Whilst this list is designed to give staff a point of reference it's also so agencies can see what steps their counterparts are taking.

The list is designed to provoke positive change!

Also, understand the process to furlough staff is challenging and agencies have different legislation to consider which takes time; not to mention most office staff are on furlough so agencies have less support to handle the task at hand.

The list will be updated daily. If you represent one of the agencies or have received new comms and have updates for us to amend please email them to [email protected]

If you are an agency or pro staff on our platform and need the password please email [email protected]

We asked Gov.uk if your universal credit payments will be deducted from the self employment grant you get (if eligible) in June.

The response we got is that they don’t know!

Realistically it’s likely that it won’t because the whole point of UC is to provide interim help until the system to get an income support grant is ready.

However your Universal Credit payments may be affected because the grant you get will be considered as income so the UC payment could be reduced or stop. We shall see!

The legislation is changing by the day so for the latest information check in on the www.gov.uk frequently.

This recording was taken Today and the info shared is subject to change.

We spoke to Gov.uk about cash advancements against Universal Credits.

Currently, once you are approved to receive UC, you can ask for a cash advancement between £100 and the full total of the first payment you are expecting.

The advancement is paid immediately and will hit your account the same day.

It also works like a loan so you have 12 months to pay it back.

This means you WILL still get your payouts as normal.

It also means the first payment is NOT used to pay off the advancement.

However you do need to make repayments every month but to those who are cash strapped, the repayments can be as little as £20.

To register for Universal Credits visit www.universal-credit.service.gov.uk/postcode-checker

If you have permanent residency but have an address where you would like you post to go then on the first line of your address put C/O

C/O means covering address to receive post etc and is an internal code that lets Gov.uk know it is not necessarily where you live!

Example:

C/O
115 Westbourne Park Road
London
W11 1EP.. will suffice!

If they ask when did you move in, put Today’s date.

Hope this helps.
