I’m delighted to be speaking at the Derma Medical Open Evening on Tuesday 29 September. An evening for healthcare professionals considering a career in aesthetic medicine.
I’ll be teaching with a live demonstration, as well as answering questions about taking the first steps into aesthetics safely and confidently.
The evening will include:

✔️ A former delegate’s journey from training into practice
✔️ A live consultation and treatment demonstration
✔️ An opportunity to meet the faculty and ask questions

Your face does not need fixing.
And I think we’ve forgotten that.
Aesthetic treatments shouldn’t be about changing everything you naturally have until you look like someone else.
I want my patients to look fresher, more balanced and more rested — but still completely like themselves.
Because individuality is a good thing.
You don’t need to follow every trend, change every feature or remove every line to look good.
The goal isn’t to look “done”.
The goal is to look like you, just really good.
Laser resurfacing. But make it less scary…
I really like the Fotona Erbium laser for a few reasons:
1. Less downtime
2. Less risk of ocular damage. So we don’t need those metal contact lenses that can seem freaky!
3. A slightly gentler treatment/recovery, depending on how we choose to use it
That doesn’t mean I think Erbium is better than CO₂. Both have their place in my heart and on my treatment menu.
It’s just nice to have options. As not every patient needs, or wants, the same thing.
And location may also play into your decision…
CO₂ is currently available in Birmingham.
Erbium is available in Bath.

What NOT to do after your appointment with me… 👀💉
DERMAL FILLER
– No touching, pressing or massaging the area
– Avoid intense workouts for 24–48 hours
– No alcohol on the day (yes… even just one)
– Skip saunas, steam rooms & excessive heat
– Avoid makeup on the treated area for at least 12 hours
ANTI WRINKLE INJECTIONS
– Don’t lie down for 4 hours post treatment
– No gym or heavy exercise for 24 hours
– Avoid rubbing or applying pressure to the area
– Skip facials, saunas & heat exposure for 24–48 hours
– No alcohol immediately after treatment
Results are built on aftercare just as much as the treatment itself.
