The refinery anticipates that this reduction will lead to a meaningful decrease in petrol costs nationwide, subsequently lowering the prices of goods and services and easing the overall cost of living.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery urges marketers to collaborate in ensuring these benefits reach the Nigerian populace, contributing to the broader economic recovery plan led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This initiative aims to make Nigeria self-sufficient in refined petroleum products and position the country as a leading oil export hub.

The Federal Government (FG), NOT Tinubu, has officially commenced cashless tolling on the Abuja–Akwanga–Lafia–Makurdi Expressway as part of its new road concession plan.

Here’s what you need to know:

✅ 50% discount on toll fares for commercial light-weight vehicles.
❌ No toll fees for authorised vehicles, pedal cycles, tricycles, motorcycles, and other two- or three-wheeled transport.

📌 Nine road corridors have been concessioned across all six geopolitical zones.
📌 ICRC () developed the model before final approval.
📌 The toll revenue will repay the loan from China Exim Bank used for the road project.
📌 This tolling plan is NOT new—a previous FG (not Buhari’s govt) had signed a 25-year concession with China Harbour & MESA’s Catamaran Nigeria, and this administration is continuing the deal. Investor confidence = 🔥🔥

🚗 Saloon Cars – ₦500
🚙 SUVs – ₦800 (Should be ₦1,500—these guys have money! 😏)
