Sin creates a separation between humanity and God.

Examples of Sin in the Bible:

Disobedience:

Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden is a foundational example of sin.

Murder:

Cain's murder of Abel is a clear example of sin.

Prayer for sin

Lord, I am a Sinner, forgive me for my selfishness, for my ego, my pride, my greed, my anger, my hate, my lust, my temptations, my weakness, my lack of faith, my uncleanliness, my laziness.

Have Mercy on my Spirit, give me the Strength to change for the better, wash away the things that do not matter this world, help me fight these evil thoughts, sway me away from evil and draw me closer to Your light.

Lord, You are Truth and I surrender to Your Truth. Forgive me, save me, I need you more than ever. Amen
