Does Things Divide in Your Hands, or Does It Multiply in Your Hands?

Sometimes, the question is not “How much do I have?” but “What happens when what I have is placed in my hands?”

Jesus took a small amount of bread and fish, blessed it, and what looked insufficient became more than enough. The miracle reminds us that God can take what seems small and multiply it when it is surrendered to Him.

But there is another important lesson: we must be careful about who we allow to walk closely with us—especially who we choose to marry.

The person you marry can either multiply what God has placed in you or divide it.

The right partner can multiply your peace, purpose, faith, wisdom, strength, and vision. They can pray with you, encourage you, correct you with love, and help you become the person God is calling you to be.

But the wrong partnership can divide your focus, confidence, finances, peace, spiritual growth, and even your sense of purpose.

That is why marriage should not be based only on chemistry, attraction, emotions, or what looks good on the outside. Pray about character. Pray about values. Pray about spiritual maturity. Pray about purpose. Watch how they treat people, how they handle pressure, how they respond when they are wrong, and how they steward what God has already given them.

Don’t only ask, “Do I love this person?” Ask, “Who am I becoming because of this relationship?”

Some people enter your life and everything God placed in you begins to grow. Others enter, and slowly, everything begins to shrink.

This does not mean your spouse must be perfect. No one is. It means you should choose someone who is willing to grow with you, honour God with you, and build with you.

A Word of Encouragement

Be careful who you give access to your heart, your future, and your purpose.

The right person won’t compete with God’s purpose for your life—they will help you pursue it.

Don’t rush because you are lonely. Don’t marry because of pressure. Don’t ignore red flags because you are afraid of starting over.

Pray. Observe. Seek wisdom. Take your time.

What God has placed in your hands is valuable. Protect it.

And remember:

“Some relationships divide what God has given you, but the right relationship can multiply what God has placed inside you.”

May God give us the wisdom to recognize the people who are assigned to build with us, not break us; multiply with us, not divide us. 🙏🏽

Choose wisely. Pray deeply. Love wisely. Build intentionally.

Message Titled: God’s Plan Is Greater Than Our Personal Ambition.

Proverbs 19:21

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Sometimes we make big plans for our lives.

We plan where we want to live.
We plan what job we want.
We plan who we want to marry.
We plan how much money we want to make.
We even plan how we want our future to look.

But life does not always go the way we planned.

Sometimes a door closes.
Sometimes a dream does not happen.
Sometimes we pray for something, but God gives us something different.

And we may ask, “God, why?”

But Proverbs 19:21 teaches us something very important: we can make plans, but God has the final say.

This does not mean we should stop dreaming or stop working hard. It means we should put our plans in God’s hands.

Maybe the road you are walking on is not the road you wanted. Maybe you do not understand what God is doing right now.

But remember:

A closed door does not mean God has forgotten you.
A delay does not mean God has rejected you.
A different path does not mean God has left you.

Sometimes God changes our plans because He can see what we cannot see.

You may only see today, but God sees tomorrow.
You may see the problem, but God sees the purpose.
You may see the beginning, but God already knows the end.

So make your plans, pray about them, work hard, and trust God with the results.

If something does not happen the way you wanted, tell God:

“Lord, I had my plan, but I trust Your plan more than mine.”

Your life is not out of control when God is in control.

The Bible says before we were formed in our mother’s womb, God already known to him, you have a purpose in his plan. Jeremiah 1:5

Prayer

1 Thessalonians 1:6

“You became followers of us and of the Lord. You welcomed the message in the middle of suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.

Introduction

Many people think that when we follow Jesus, life will become easy. But the Bible teaches us something different. Following Christ does not mean we will never face problems. It means we will never face them alone.

The believers in Thessalonica accepted Jesus even though they were suffering. They were mocked and faced many difficulties. Yet they did not lose their faith. Instead, they were filled with joy because the Holy Spirit was with them.

Message

Paul tells us that these believers became followers of Christ, not only when life was good but also when life was hard. Their joy did not come from their situation. Their joy came from God.

Today, many of us are carrying heavy burdens. We may face sickness, disappointment, loneliness, or financial struggles. But this verse reminds us that God’s joy is stronger than our pain. The Holy Spirit gives us peace when the world gives us trouble.

If you are going through a difficult time, don’t give up. Keep trusting Jesus. Your problems may not disappear overnight, but God will give you the strength to keep going. Your faith in hard times can become a powerful testimony that leads others to Christ.

Remember, real joy is not the absence of suffering. Real joy is knowing that Jesus is with you in every storm.

Stay faithful. Stay hopeful. God is with you, and He will never leave you.

God bless you all

Topic: Watch and Pray

Scripture: Matthew 26:41

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” — Matthew 26:41

Introduction

Before Jesus went to the cross, He took His disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane. He asked them to stay awake and pray, but they fell asleep. In that moment, Jesus gave a timeless warning: “Watch and pray.”

Today, many believers want to live for God, but daily temptations, distractions, and the pressures of life can weaken us. Jesus understands our struggle. He knows that our hearts may desire to do what is right, but without prayer and spiritual alertness, we can easily fall.

Watching means staying spiritually awake, guarding our hearts, and being aware of the enemy’s attacks. Praying keeps us connected to God’s strength, wisdom, and guidance. Victory over temptation does not come by our own power—it comes through a close relationship with God.

No matter how strong you think you are, never stop praying. Prayer is not just for difficult times; it is the key to staying faithful every day. When we watch and pray, God gives us the strength to stand firm and live according to His will.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us to watch and pray. Help us to stay close to You every day. Give us strength to resist temptation and wisdom to make the right choices. Keep our hearts faithful and our eyes fixed on Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen Smen and Amen

Psalm 119:105

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Life is like walking on a dark road. Sometimes we do not know what to do or where to go. God’s Word is like a lamp. It does not always show the whole journey, but it gives us enough light for the next step.

When we read the Bible and obey God, He gives us wisdom, peace, and direction. We do not have to walk in fear because God is with us. Trust His Word every day, and He will lead you on the right path.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that guides our lives. Help us to trust You every day and to follow Your ways. Give us wisdom when we make decisions and keep our feet on the right path. Let Your light shine through our lives so others may know You. In Jesus’ name, Amen, Amen and Amen.
