Another day on my MSc Adult Nursing journey, and it's a reminder that sometimes the commute is part of the experience. From Hammersmith to Charing Cross Hospital, the walk takes you past some fascinating architecture, peaceful green spaces and hidden corners of West London. Then, arriving on the ninth floor, you're rewarded with one of the most impressive views across the capital.
Every placement is building my knowledge, confidence and clinical skills, helping me become the safest and best nurse I can be. That same commitment to precision, professionalism and patient care is at the heart of A Grade Aesthetics, where evidence-based practice and attention to detail always come first.

Halfway through my MSc Adult Nursing journey and another day begins with a walk to Charing Cross Hospital for my Neurorehabilitation placement. Sometimes it's the little moments that make the biggest difference—a curious squirrel in Margravine Cemetery searching for a tasty treat before I continued on to support patients and keep learning.

Every placement builds my knowledge, strengthens my clinical skills, and reinforces the importance of safe, compassionate care. That same commitment to professionalism and attention to detail is at the heart of everything I do at A Grade Aesthetics.

Another rewarding week completed on the Neurorehabilitation Ward at Charing Cross Hospital. Every shift brings new learning, new challenges, and the privilege of supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Each hour on placement is another step towards achieving my NMC registration as an Adult Nurse through my MSc in Adult Nursing. Working alongside such knowledgeable multidisciplinary teams continues to develop my clinical skills, confidence, and understanding of truly person-centred care.

The knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail I gain through nursing continue to strengthen the standards I bring to A Grade Aesthetics. Whether caring for patients on the ward or welcoming clients into my clinic, my focus remains the same: delivering safe, evidence-based, compassionate care.

Grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. Here's to another week closer to becoming a registered nurse while continuing to build A Grade Aesthetics.

This morning's walk to Charing Cross Hospital was a reminder to slow down and appreciate the journey. From the unique architecture and historic buildings that line the streets to seeing England flags proudly flying after this morning's fantastic victory over Mexico, it was a great way to start the day before another shift on my MSc Adult Nursing placement.

Every day in clinical practice teaches me something new, and every experience helps me grow—not only as a future nurse, but also as a practitioner at A Grade Aesthetics. The attention to detail, professionalism and patient-centred care I develop in the NHS continue to shape the standard of care I provide to my own clients.

Sometimes progress isn't just about reaching the destination—it's about appreciating everything you discover along the way.

My MSc Adult Nursing journey has now brought me to Charing Cross Hospital, a hospital with a long and distinguished history of delivering specialist care, clinical excellence, and educating generations of healthcare professionals.

Being able to train in such an established environment allows me to develop my clinical knowledge and skills alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams.

Today marks the start of a new chapter in my MSc Adult Nursing journey as I begin my placement on the Neurorehabilitation Ward at Charing Cross Hospital.

I'm looking forward to learning from an experienced multidisciplinary team, developing my clinical skills, and gaining first-hand experience caring for patients recovering from neurological illness and injury. Every placement strengthens my knowledge and enhances the level of care I provide—not only within the NHS but also through A Grade Aesthetics.

Today on my MSc Adult Nursing placement at Hammersmith Hospital, I had the opportunity to observe a specialist syncope clinic and watch a tilt table test in practice.
Experiences like this provide invaluable insight into how healthcare professionals investigate unexplained fainting episodes, dizziness, and autonomic dysfunction. Seeing diagnostic assessments performed in a real clinical setting strengthens my understanding of patient assessment, cardiovascular physiology, and the importance of evidence-based care.
Every placement brings new learning opportunities that enhance my clinical knowledge and ultimately benefit my clients at A Grade Aesthetics.
