on my beautiful two ladies
TCM holographic facial Gua Sha is a beauty and wellness practice that combines traditional meridian theory with the principles of biological holography. By gently scraping facial acupoints and holographic reflex zones with tools such as jade, the technique aims to unblock meridians, promote the circulation of Qi and blood, and regulate the internal organs. Key principles include: meridian regulation (stimulating the six major meridians passing through the face to improve local microcirculation); holographic correspondence (treating the face as a microcosm of the entire body to regulate internal organs); and a gentle, non-invasive approach (using a lighter touch than body Gua Sha, typically aiming for mild redness without bruising). Primary benefits include: improved complexion (promoting blood flow for a healthy, rosy glow); firming and de-puffing (relieving facial muscle tension and reducing edema and fatigue); and addressing both root causes and symptoms (achieving external beauty through internal regulation).

Two of my favorite beautiful ladies—they are eager to learn and pay meticulous attention to every single movement. I am so proud of them!
As our age, the skin gradually loses its firmness. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) facial acupoint massage can boost facial microcirculation and help reduce crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, and eye bags. Combining this practice with dietary therapy yields even better results.
Regularly massaging five specific acupoints around the eyes helps improve eye bags and crow’s feet while making the eyes appear brighter and more vibrant. These five acupoints are:
Cuanzhu (BL2): Located in the depression at the inner edge of the eyebrow.
Yangbai (GB14): Located directly above the pupil, one *cun* (the width of the thumb’s middle joint) above the eyebrow.
Tongziliao (GB1): Located at the outer corner of the eye, in the depression where the outer eye corner meets the orbital bone.
Jingming (BL1): Located in the depression of the orbital bone, slightly above the inner corner of the eye.
Chengqi (ST1): Located directly below the pupil, in the depression of the orbital bone.
Dicang (ST4): Located at the intersection of the vertical line extending down from the pupil and the horizontal line extending from the corner of the mouth (when looking straight ahead).
Quanliao (SI18): Located directly below the outer corner of the eye, in the depression beneath the cheekbone.

Facial acupoint massage based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles involves using fingers or specific tools to apply rhythmic pressure, kneading, or point-pressing to specific facial acupoints. This practice aims to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood within the meridians and enhance facial microcirculation for both health maintenance and therapeutic purposes.
Core Principles: Unblocking Meridian Qi and Blood—The face is a convergence point for six Yang meridians, including the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian and the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. Massaging these key points helps unblock the flow of Qi and blood. Improving Facial Circulation—It accelerates local blood and lymphatic circulation, thereby offering benefits such as beautifying the complexion, soothing muscles, and supporting overall bodily balance.
Common Facial Acupoints and Their Benefits: Yingxiang (on both sides of the nostrils)—Used to improve nasolabial folds, lift the ”apple zone“ (cheekbones), and relieve nasal congestion. Quanliao (directly below the outer corner of the eye, at the lower edge of the cheekbone)—Helps tighten cheeks, diminish fine lines, and address facial sagging. Yangbai (centered above the eyebrows)—Promotes Qi and blood circulation around the eyes, helping to brighten the complexion and reduce forehead lines. Dicang (beside the corners of the mouth)—Relaxes facial muscles and alleviates fine lines and tension around the mouth.

The Benefits and Effects of Baduanjin.
When the meridians are obstructed, a multitude of ailments arise. How can one unblock the meridians and ensure abundant Qi and blood? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) centers on Qi and blood—regarding Qi as the fundamental element—and Baduanjin emerged in response to this philosophy.
This form of exercise, designed to regulate the Qi and blood of the internal organs, restore metabolic function, and strengthen the body, has long been popular. It is likened to a piece of exquisite brocade and consists of eight distinct movements, hence the name “Baduanjin” (Eight-Section Brocade). Relieving Fatigue
I The first movement of Baduanjin, “Two Hands Hold Up the Heavens to Regulate the Triple Burner” (San Jiao), involves stretching the limbs and torso—much like a natural stretch upon waking. It enhances stretching activity, redistributes blood flow within the thoracic and abdominal cavities, promotes lung expansion, deepens breathing, and increases oxygen intake, all of which help alleviate fatigue.
II. Correcting Shoulder and Back Posture
The “Two Hands Hold Up the Heavens” movement is a full-body stretch accompanied by deep breathing. It regulates the internal organs and benefits the musculoskeletal system of the lower back and spine, helping to correct poor posture such as inward-turning shoulders and a rounded back. Consequently, young people who frequently study or work at desks can also benefit from practicing Baduanjin.
