🚨BREAKING: New details have emerged about the traumatic past of the Belfast stabbing victim.

The man stabbed in Belfast was previously drugged and set on fire by a gang leader in a horrific attack at a flat in Livingston, West Lothian.

Stephen Ogilvie, who has learning difficulties, was attacked in 2001 by drug dealer David McLeave, then aged 21. McLeave gave him the date-rape drug GHB, stripped him, poured aftershave over him, and set him alight while he was watching television.

Ogilvie woke up to find his body on fire. The gang recorded the ordeal on video.

McLeave was later sentenced to 14 years in prison at the High Court in Edinburgh in 2003.

Ogilvie is now in hospital in Belfast with life-changing injuries, including the loss of his left eye, following Monday night’s knife attack by Sudanese national Hadi Alodid.

This vulnerable man has endured unimaginable pain and suffering throughout his life — only to be subjected to yet another horrific ordeal.

No one deserves this.
