My Take on the Mr. Ibu Family Saga 🕊️

Barely a year after his death, and we’re already seeing public begging and accusations over inheritance. This is a painful but necessary lesson for every family.

To every man with multiple partners and children:

1. Write a WILL. Don't leave your children to fight over your properties. Put it in black and white.

2. Appoint neutral executors not just a spouse to manage your estate fairly.

3. Marry and have children ONLY within your means. Provision is not optional it's your responsibility.

4. Invest in EACH child separately. Don't dump everything in one pot. Give each child their own security.

5. Talk to your family while you're alive. Transparency prevents chaos after you're gone.

To the children: fight in court, not on social media. Your father's legacy deserves better than public drama.

To the public, before you donate, ask where the estate went. Don't fund greed with sympathy.

Mr. Ibu made us laugh. Let his family's tears teach us to plan better.

Plan well. Love well. Write it down. ✍️

Lolo Mbakara recently brought something deeply disturbing to our attention a hospital where embalmed babies are kept, and unsuspecting pregnant women become victims of a sinister swap. A live child exchanged for a dead one, all for money. All in the name of greed.

It forces us to ask, How did we get here?
How do people especially health officials who swore an oath to save lives become so heartless that they can look a mother in the eye and steal her future?

This is not a rumor, This is not exaggeration. This is a reality we have ignored for too long. I have known about this for years, but seeing it laid bare like this makes it impossible to stay silent.

I completely condemn this evil practice.
It must stop.

To the health workers involved: Change your ways. You are trusted with the most precious gift life itself. Do not betray that trust.

To husbands and fathers, Be present. On the day your wife goes to deliver, do not be absent. Be there. Watch. Follow up. Protect your child with your eyes and presence. Your attention could save a life.

We can stop this. Not with prayers alone but with vigilance, accountability, and a refusal to look away.

Thank you, Lolo, for your courage in exposing this. You may have saved more lives than you know.

Let's be the change. Let's protect our own.

Verydarkblackman spoke courageously, again.

A voice called out to the Arawa youth, laying bare the structural rot they've been trapped in for generations.

The message was clear

Your leaders have failed you. Deliberately.
They've kept education and enlightenment away from the masses, while their own children are sent to the best schools. The rest? Kept poor, dependent, and useful tools for shady politics, violence, begging, and blind loyalty.

This isn't new. Everyone knows it. But saying it aloud? That takes backbone.

As expected, insults flew from some. But mature influencers are now standing up, speaking against this long-standing evil.

I'm adding my voice...

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

These children deserve education. They deserve a future where they're not pawns in someone else's game.

A balanced society isn't built on keeping people down it's built on lifting everyone up.

Let this be the wake-up call.

Let's demand better. For them. For all of us.

On TV this morning, Sir Bayo Ononuga said there is no hunger in Nigeria. He claimed he spoke with his staff and those around him, and they all confirmed things are fine at the market. No one is hungry.

But I beg to differ.

There is SO much hunger in this land.

🔹 Eggs that used to sell for ₦600 is now ₦7,000.

🔹 Fish that people bought for ₦300–₦500 is now ₦3,500.

🔹 Garri, rice, beans everything has skyrocketed.

Many people aren't even thinking about fashion or luxury anymore. All they want is money to eat and feed their families. The cost of living has gone through the roof.

With all due respect, I think he is completely out of touch with reality and the current prices on the ground.

We are hungry. Nigerians are suffering. 🇳🇬

Drop a 💔 if you feel this too.

Omoyele Sowore and his boys

My thoughts are with Omoyele Sowore as he remains remanded in custody until June 30th.

That said, I sincerely believe the "RevolutionNow" crew needs to show more decorum around the court premises. The constant shouting, disruptions, and chaotic protests don't help their cause they diminish it.

There's a way to advocate for justice without turning the courtroom into a market square. The Ratel Movement has shown that peaceful, dignified protest is not only possible but powerful. Let's take notes.

Justice should be pursued with passion but also with poise. ✊✊

Child Marriage should be discouraged.

She bled. She begged. She protected her abuser."

I just watched a girl married at 15, beaten and molested for years finally get help, only to cry and plead with authorities not to arrest her husband.

Why? Because she's terrified his family will blame her. Abandon her. Leave her with nothing.

That's not love. That's trauma. That's control.

Let me be clear

🔴 The man MUST be arrested.

🔴 Child marriage MUST be criminalised no exceptions.
🔴 Parents MUST raise daughters who know their worth before they turn 15.

Train a child well before age 7. Teach them assertiveness, self-awareness, and that their body is their own. By 10, they should already know what they want for their future so no abuser can rewrite their destiny.

To every adult: Pay attention to the children around you. Speak up. Report abuse. Don't look away.

And to every girl reading this you are NOT born to beg for mercy from the person who broke you. You are born for so much more.

Justice for her. Safety for every child. Accountability for every predator.

👇 Share this if you stand against child marriage and domestic violence.

It’s official the UK is having a “heatwave,” and the support from the schools has been amazing. They have sent reminders on how to keep the kids cool and hydrated. It’s so thoughtful and shows how much they care.

The schools are sending out emergency emails, the news is in a frenzy, and everyone is talking about “coping strategies” for this scorching heat. Meanwhile, my daughter and I are looking at each other like… “Is this a joke? This is just a Tuesday afternoon in Lagos!” 😅

We actually had a good laugh comparing notes this morning. She still remembers the Nigerian sun the kind that melts your slippers to the pavement! This UK “heatwave” feels like a lovely warm hug to us. We’re not sweating, we’re glowing.

It’s honestly fascinating and a little funny to see what causes a culture shock in a new country.

We are absolutely loving feeling the sun on our skin again without the need for 5 layers of clothing! Who else is finding this weather absolutely tropical and normal?

Let me know in the comments I need to know I’m not alone! 🇳🇬☀️🇬🇧

Uk Ratel team fathers day outing.

Happy (belated) Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there! 💙

This Sunday, uk Ratel Movement team took things outside to connect with some of our elderly fathers in the community.

We had such a great time just sitting, chatting, and sharing stories with them it was all about reaching out, showing up, and letting them know they’re not forgotten.

Sometimes the best gift is simply your time and presence.
We’re grateful for every laugh, every hug, and every moment shared.

Until next time, keep loving on our fathers! 🙏🏾✨
