How should deep tissue massage feel?

Deep tissue massage should not have you gripping the bed or holding your breath, but it shouldn’t feel like nothing either.

The goal is never to see how much pressure you can handle, it’s to encourage your body to release.

Your body shouldn’t need to be fought in order to create lasting change 🤎

Checking in and adjusting pressure does not mean the massage is less effective - It means it’s working with your body rather than against it.

Slow and controlled movements using my forearm, elbow, body weight and adjusting my body allows for different depths of pressure.

Deep and flowing massage allows for release AND relaxation.
