Welcome to Skin Sense and beauty
Rosacea is often misunderstood…
It’s a chronic skin condition, which means we don’t cure it we manage it.
This client came to me in 2021 with:
Persistent redness
Telangiectasia (broken capillaries)
Pustules and inflammation
With rosacea, the goal is to:
Repair and maintain the skin barrier
Identify and reduce triggers
Introduce treatments slowly and safely
Over time, we were able to incorporate:
Barrier-focused skincare
Oxygen therapy
Gentle chemical peels
Microneedling + skin boosters
The result? Healthier, stronger, more resilient skin.
You CAN have rosacea and still treat other concerns like ageing you just need the right approach.
If you’re struggling with rosacea, I’m here to help.
I know we all love a little sunshine ☀️ but when it comes to skin health, moderation really is key.
The sun has so many benefits, including helping the body produce vitamin D, which is important for overall health. I’m sure we all know this.
However, research generally suggests that around 10–15 minutes of sun exposure a day (depending on your skin type and UV levels) can be enough.
In clinic I often see how quickly the skin can change with repeated sun exposure, which is why I always encourage a balanced approach.
So this is just a little reminder to all my lovely clients, and for those of you who have committed to a daily skincare routine to keep your skin in optimum health, whether that’s regular facials or more advanced treatments like skin boosters and microneedling to improve the health of your skin and the longevity of its glow.
As the weather starts to get a little sunnier, please remember to wear a hat or sunscreen and reduce prolonged sun exposure so we can protect all the progress you’re making with your skin and keep it looking healthy for longer.
I completely understand that things can come up unexpectedly, but last minute cancellations have a big impact not only on my business, but also on clients waiting for appointments.
Moving forward I would like to introduce my 24 hour cancellation policy, please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged at 50%.
You will still receive your usual 48 hour reminder via text or email, giving you plenty of time to make any changes if needed.
Thank you so much for your understanding, your support, and for respecting my time it is truly appreciated.

There’s so much information out there, and so many products claiming to do the same thing, that it’s easy to feel unsure about what your skin actually needs.
Understanding how your skin functions what it needs to thrive is key.
When you understand your skin and how ingredients work, you’re able to make informed decisions instead of relying on what’s written on the front of the bottle.
Skin boosters are placed just beneath the surface of the skin where they form tiny hydration reservoirs (the small bumps you can see).
These gradually disperse into the surrounding tissue, delivering hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants to deeply hydrate and improve overall skin quality.
Skin boosters are fantastic for doing exactly what they say, boosting the skin from within. They help improve hydration, elasticity, texture and overall radiance, leaving your skin looking smoother, healthier and more refreshed over time.
Perfect for dull, tired or dehydrated skin, this treatment works to restore that natural glow while improving skin quality long term.

I’m about a week before my cycle starts, and this is always when my skin feels dry, tight and sensitive.
During this phase, progesterone increases water loss while estrogen drops, meaning less natural hydration and a weaker skin barrier.
The result? Skin becomes reactive, products can sting, and everything suddenly feels too much.
This isn’t just something that happens before a period either. Women going through perimenopause or menopause often experience very similar skin changes because estrogen levels fluctuate or decline, which directly affects hydration, collagen and barrier strength.
Most people try to add more actives here, like stronger retinols, exfoliating acids or resurfacing products, thinking their skin needs fixing. But this is actually the moment to simplify.
I pause strong actives, focus on hydration, barrier support and keeping things calm while my skin moves through this transition.
Sometimes the best skincare is doing less.
