Scar tissue doesn’t always mean a piercing can’t have a second chance.

This navel piercing was on a client whose previous piercing had rejected, leaving behind visible scarring. After carefully assessing the area, we selected a placement that better suited their current anatomy and gave the piercing the best opportunity to heal well.

Previous rejection doesn’t automatically mean it will happen again, but it does mean extra consideration needs to be given to placement, tissue condition, and jewellery choice.

A good reminder that piercings should be tailored to the person in front of you, not just placed where an old piercing once sat. ✨
