A dear friend of mine sent me her Uraraka cosplay (My Hero Academia)! I'm so happy with it and my friend is an angel for sending it.

Morning! I've not died!
I've been away for a long time and a lot has happened but I am here and I found the M6 Carnifex.

1. My bat pyjamas and Star Wars top are ✨fashion.️✨️
2. I had (and have) plans to remake the M6 Carnifex from scratch. I've learnt A LOT since first making this thing, and want to use that knowledge to make a well made weapon, deserving of a Commander Shepard cosplay. HOWEVER! I've not been well enough, and so this horrible little babe will be accompanying me to Manchester Anime Con this Saturday.

I've not been well enough to finish Shep in time for a con next week, so I'm thinking... casual Shep? A.k.a., this outfit with wig + makeup?

The clay ears have almost set! The next step is to apply roughly 10 layers of liquid latex to them, to make hollow wearable ears. 🫶

Why buy ready made Night Elf ears when you can painstakingly make them yourself?

Using a pattern, I've made a set of ears out of polymer clay and once they're set, I'm going to use liquid latex to make wearable ears! 💕

As I'm still feeling a little overwhelmed whenever I try to bring myself to do a big armour build (a.k.a., Shepard the love of my life), I looked through my cosplay build list and saw that classic Priestess Tyrande was there.

I've always told myself that I can't do her until I'm skinny. That was when I was dealing with an eating disorder, and the mindset is so unhealthy. So I'm getting rid of that this year, and I'm going to do classic Priestess Tyrande. Here's a makeup test. 🫶

Because I'm an idiot with poor time management: HAPPY (belated by 3 days) 12TH ANNIVERSARY MASS EFFECT 3!

I still can't listen to pretty much any of the music from ME3 without crying my eyes out, and I love that.

I haven't posted on here since January and for that I am so sorry! Unfortunately a few things have happened since then, including another hospitalisation for an upper GI haemorrhage.

First and foremost: ✨️I am okay!✨️

I'm adjusting to new medications, awaiting appointments and taking things slowly. I've lost a lot of momentum when it comes to cosplay, especially with Shep being a labour intensive armour build. I won't give up! And am making plans to perhaps move onto Shep's N7 dress in the meantime to ease myself back into things... or maybe a playthrough of the trilogy will spur me on! We'll see.

Anyway! If you've hung around, thought about me in any capacity or even just wondered where the mcf**k I'd gone: thank you. I'm still around. 💕

After being in hospital earlier last month, I now have Covid and it is absolutely kicking my arse. I am ✨️not well✨️ at all - what a way to kick off a new year! Until I'm not as sick, all plans are on hold.
