Today’s French set felt extra special for me 🤍

I’m still officially on maternity leave, soaking up all the newborn moments, but I just couldn’t stay away from doing nails completely. Creating sets like this reminds me how much I genuinely love what I do. It doesn’t feel like work to me – it’s something that brings me so much happiness and creativity.

I’ve really missed my clients, the chats, the laughs, and the feeling of finishing a set and seeing how much someone loves their nails. It means so much that people choose to come to me, and I’ll never take that for granted.

Because of that, I’ll be opening a small number of appointments each month. On the 1st of every month, I’ll post on my story with the limited appointments that will be available.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, even while I’m on maternity leave. I feel so lucky to have a job I truly love and the most amazing clients. Doing nails genuinely makes me so happy, and I’m so grateful for every single person who sits in my chair 🤍

So the lovely Amanda has joined our team ✨ and after gaining some feedback from customers we’ve decided on these steps to support Amanda and get the best possible experience from us all at Lilly’s lots of love Leigha 🤍

A little personal update 🤍

Our beautiful baby boy Freddie made his entrance into the world on 21st January 2026 at 3:47am 💙
It’s been a rocky few days and I’m currently still in hospital being treated for an infection, so if you’ve messaged me and I haven’t replied yet, please bear with me. I’m feeling very overwhelmed, battling illness, but also soaking up every second of this precious baby bubble.

As always, .l.nailarts has been an absolute godsend. I can never truly put into words my gratitude for her kindness, support and loyalty through some of the hardest moments of my life — I am forever thankful 🤍

This evening I sat back and had one of those moments where it all really sinks in…

I want to say the biggest thank you to each and every client who has walked through our doors — not just over the Christmas rush, but over the past four years. Your loyalty, support, conversations, laughs and trust mean more to me than you’ll ever know. Lilly’s truly wouldn’t be what it is without you 🤍

I’m so incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and of the amazing people I’ve met along the way. A special thank you to Shauna, who truly is the backbone of the salon — your support, dedication and hard work never go unnoticed and I’m endlessly grateful for you.

With baby boy due in January and maternity leave just around the corner, I’m feeling all the mixed emotions — excitement, nerves, gratitude — but above all I’m so thankful for the journey so far. The past four years have shaped Lilly’s into everything it is today, and I wouldn’t change a single moment.

It’s been a while since I’ve used grey, but I’m obsessed with how this set turned out — a full acrylic set with design, taking 1 hour 30 to create 👏✨

Absolutely loved creating this fun set — a mix of vibrant red tips, leopard print and stars! Took me around 2 hours to complete and I enjoyed every minute of it ❤️✨
