Body scrub is one of those self care essentials everyone can benefit from. The good news? It doesn’t have to be expensive. Start with what you already have, be consistent, and work your way up if you choose. Taking care of your skin isn’t about how much you spend,it’s about making the most of what you have.
Do this 2-3x a week
We are outside 🤣🤣🤣
Try this straw trick if you struggle with vacuuming
You don't have to go very deep to know you're engaging your core. What matters most is that you're doing it consistently.
I suggest practicing it as often as you can throughout the day. It's not about how intense or deep the movement is ,it's about how often you activate those muscles and build awareness.
And if it fits your lifestyle, intermittent fasting can also support overall health beyond just weight loss, especially when combined with regular movement and mindful eating.
A straw makes core engagement easier
Even if you have diastasis recti or you’re working on your core strength, consistency is more important than perfection. Over time, a strong and engaged core can support healing and improve abdominal control.
She was still sad after I comforted and reassured her, probably because she still couldn’t do the abdominal vacuum very well yet. She’s only two, so she probably doesn’t fully understand what’s going on.
I love having my kids around me, whatever I’m doing, because at this young age, my life revolves around them.
It’s not that I always want them to join me, but most of the time they want to join me. In fact, there was a time when I would wait for a quiet moment to make a video. Now, they somehow always know when the camera is on and suddenly appear!
And you know what? I should get used to it.
These are the years they’ll want to be involved in everything I do. One day they’ll be too busy with their own lives, so for now, I’ll embrace the little helpers, the interruptions, the extra voices, and the tiny feet running into my videos.
It’s not always perfect, but it’s real life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This is proof that I don’t ask my children to join me. They willingly come and join in because children naturally copy what they see.
If I’m exercising and they want to be part of it, why would I stop them from being active?
Abdominal vacuum is a low-risk exercise, and they’re simply having fun while learning that movement is a normal part of life. I would be more concerned if they spent all day sitting down and doing nothing.
As parents, we lead by example. If my children see me exercising and want to join, I’m happy to encourage that.
Not everything needs to be viewed with fear. As long as an activity is age appropriate, supervised, and safe, children should be allowed to explore, learn, and be active.
Children naturally learn by watching. When parents exercise, it teaches them that movement and fitness are a normal part of life. I’ve seen children lift age appropriate weights, play sports, dance, swim, and develop strength through physical activity.
Don’t limit a child’s potential because of limited knowledge. As long as an activity is safe, supervised, and appropriate for their age, let them explore, learn, and enjoy moving their bodies.
