We missed the first launch of this candle from and ordered it as soon as it came back in stock, and opening it just reminded us how rare this level of detail actually is.
You don’t get packaging like this with most brands. Everything has been thought through, from the materials to the finishes to how it all feels in your hands. It’s subtle, but it’s what makes it memorable.
We created this brand back in 2021 and worked on the candle label and box design more recently, all with this in mind. Not just how it looks, but how it positions the brand and how it’s experienced.
This isn’t your average unboxing. It’s the kind of thing people remember, and the reason they come back.

When we work on brand identity for product-based, lifestyle and interior businesses, this is one of the most common challenges we see, clients love a neutral palette. It’s not that neutral palettes don’t work, as we do create a lot of beautiful neutral brands and some of the most recognisable brands are built on neutrals. But when neutral becomes the default, without intention, you lose recognition before you’ve even had a chance to build it.
A strong brand identity isn’t just about how something looks, it’s about how quickly it’s recognised.
Colour can do a huge amount of that work for you and in many cases, it becomes more distinctive than the logo itself.

From the moment a guest arrives to the smallest details they interact with throughout their stay. Printed menus and stationery to in-room touches and materials, every element plays a role in shaping perception.
When these details are considered as part of a wider brand, the result is something that feels cohesive, elevated and intentional, not just designed, but experienced.
When it comes to logo design and brand identity, the safest option is rarely the most effective. We often see clients lean towards something more minimal or familiar, especially in interior design and lifestyle brands where neutral aesthetics are common, but branding isn’t about what feels safe, it’s about what makes a brand recognisable.
In this case, choosing a more distinctive direction meant the brand could actually stand out across its website, packaging and overall brand experience
It didn’t click immediately, which is part of the process, but once the brand was seen in context, the difference was clear, this is what strong brand strategy does, it moves a business away from what feels comfortable and towards what actually works
