The arrows show the natural direction of lymph flow and where some of your key lymph nodes are located.

During manual lymphatic drainage, light, rhythmic movements are used to gently direct fluid towards the lymph nodes, where the lymph is filtered and processed before continuing through the lymphatic system.

This is why direction is so important when performing lymphatic drainage. It’s not simply about massaging the body, but working with the natural pathways of the lymphatic system.
