I’ve been asked for years which at-home LED mask I recommend, and until now, I’ve never had one I felt completely confident putting my name behind.

I’ve jumped out of a plane, done one of the highest bungee jumps in the world, nearly became a paediatrician, had a stint on the radio and still maintain I could have been a very decent golfer if life had given me more time to practise 😅
I’m also a proud girl dad, now a very smitten Papi, an identical twin, Liverpool-born and bred, and much more likely to choose a glass of red than a tequila.
I think it’s easy to know your practitioner as the person in scrubs, but there’s a whole life behind the clinic doors too, and I thought it was about time I shared a bit more of mine.
So, how many did you already know? And which one surprised you most? 🤍
Your skincare routine probably doesn’t need another product. It might need fewer products, just used more consistently.
One of the biggest problems we see is people chasing results by adding more actives, switching products too often, or using ingredients their skin simply isn’t tolerating. The result can be redness, dryness, sensitivity and a disrupted skin barrier, which makes it much harder for the skin to function well.
A good anti-ageing routine should be built around the basics: antioxidant protection in the morning, daily SPF, a well-tolerated retinoid in the evening, plus enough hydration and barrier support to keep the skin healthy.
From there, we can tailor the details to your skin, your concerns and what you’ll realistically use long term.
Because the products that work best are usually the ones you can use consistently without constantly having to rescue irritated skin.

If you’re new here, this is probably the quickest way to understand what we’re about.
We’re not interested in making aesthetics feel intimidating, overcomplicated, or sales-led. We want people to feel comfortable asking questions, understand why we’re recommending something and know that if we think you’d be better off doing less, we’ll say so.
Being nurse and doctor-led shapes the way we think about every treatment, but so does being a husband and wife team who genuinely care about the clinic we’ve built and the people who trust us with their faces and skin.
So expect plenty of education, natural results, honest advice, a strong skin first approach and a little bit of us along the way too.

We’ve been keeping something under wraps 👀
This is something we’ve been planning for a VERY long time, and it’s finally starting to feel very real.
A new pair of scrubs is about to appear in clinic… and there’s someone rather special coming with them. 🤍
Still the Doc, Leigh & Sarah doing their same clinics but more hands, a whole lot of skin knowledge and a very exciting new addition to The Cosmedic Company.

The firmer skin you’re seeing here came from her own collagen ✨️

You might come in pointing to one line, one fold or one area that suddenly feels different. But good assessment starts by looking beyond the change that’s caught your eye.
Ageing affects the face in layers. We see changes in bone, fat, ligaments, soft tissue and skin, and those changes influence each other. A deeper fold lower down the face may actually be partly related to loss of support higher up. Skin that looks tired may need a very different approach from an area that has lost structure.
That’s why treatment planning shouldn’t be about chasing every line individually. It should be about understanding what’s driving the changes, deciding what genuinely needs treating and, just as importantly, what doesn’t.
The best results usually come from looking at the whole face and creating a plan that keeps you looking like you, just fresher and more supported.
