Being a beauty therapist isn’t just about being there for your clients through their difficult days sometimes, they’re there for you through yours too.
I messaged my clients to explain I was okay to work, but I wasn’t feeling myself and might be quieter than usual, so they were welcome to bring their headphones for a silent appointment. 🎧
Then my final client of the day arrived with the most beautiful bunch of flowers, just to cheer me up. 💐
I spend so much time making sure my clients feel safe, supported and cared for, but moments like this remind me that the love truly goes both ways.🤍
This business has given me so much more than clients. It’s given me genuine friendships, a beautiful community and people who show up for me when I need them most.
I’ll never stop being grateful for them. 🫶🏻✨

Yesterday, I collaborated with Caudwell Youth to host a mini Lash Artist & Business Masterclass for three amazing young ladies who haven’t always felt heard, understood or believed in at school.
We made bracelets, talked about how I built my business despite struggling at school, learned some lash skills and finished with self-care goody bags. 🫶🏼
My biggest message was simple: school does not define your worth or your future. You don’t have to fit into someone else’s box — you can build your own. 💙

For those if you who don't know Lillys story I told her during work experience that if she could get me the views I’d give her a lash course for FREE.👀 ✨
Well, Lilly understood the assignment. 👏🏻
She got the views. She earned the course. And today she created this gorgeous set of brown classics🤎✨
And I genuinely had one of those “wow, I’m glad I trusted my gut” moments.
Sometimes all a young person needs is someone to spot their potential, give them an opportunity and actually believe they can do it. 😭
At 15, she’s already showing patience, attention to detail and some serious natural talent and I cannot WAIT to see where she takes it. 🥹
